How does the self-cleaning function on hp deskjet printers actually work? -

I am wondering what actually happens each time I do an auto-clean, intermediate clean, and/or prime on my printer. It s a HP Deskjet 3740. I took it apart to clean it manually since it s been being very streaky lately, and found two foam-like pads soaked full of ink. Does quot;auto-cleanquot; merely squirt off some ink in a side compartment or what? How does this work? Thanks in advance!

The foam pads should be soaked in ink. Theyu pick up the excess ink when you have completed a print job, or when you have completed a cleaning. A print head cleaning works by heating the print head and expelling a small amount of ink and any debris that may be causing a blockage. You should run a print head cleaning every two - three weeks. Intermediate clean and priming the printer are not necessary if you do a basic cleaning. INtermediate clean and prime work just like a basic cleaning, the biggest difference is going to be the ink volume expelled.

Yea, they empty out a portion of ink, like 0.1ml and squirt it onto pads

How do u extract videos from a memory card using an HP printer with slots for cards? -

its an HP Photosmart c4100 printer, and its an SD card if that matters at all...

if you can see the card reader in your quot;My Computerquot; (it should show as removeable media) than with the card inserted in the printer double click on the icon for it and it should open so you can copy the video off the card.

Is it a USB cable connected printer? Boot up computer with printer USB cable out of computer. then when win finished loading, plug in cable. Win should auto detect printer and should give you a pop up box asking you what you want to do with files on card.

Is it possible to buy white regular paper for a printer with a coffee scent? -

Is it possible to buy white regular paper for a printer with a coffee scent?

not that i am aware of. i know you can buy scents which come as a liquid that you can brush on, but not actual paper. of course you could always just buy the paper and the coffee separate and combine them yourself ;)

what?!

How do I make my printer wireless? -

I have a Kodak EasyShare and I am wanting to set it up to be wireless. I have a wireless laptop, is there something I can plug into my printer to make it wireless or what options do I have?

You could use a wireless print server to make the printer wireless. Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-G-PrintSe… should work

Netgear, Linksys, Belkin, D-Link, and others have Wireless USB Print servers that will work with many printers. Visit their websites and look for the contact us info. Let them know what model printer you have and they may be able to tell you if their product will work with your printer. Not all print servers will work with all printers. www.netgear.com www.linksys.com www.belkin.com www.dlink.com

Of course you can! I m not familiar with that specific model of printer, but some have Bluetooth built in. In that case, you could buy a Bluetooth adapter for the laptop at Wal-Mart for $15.00. For printers that don t have Bluetooth, you will either need to have a second computer for you to hook it to, or a print server. If you already have a wireless network, you can simply hook the printer up to another computer, preferably one that stays close to the printer, and you can quot;sharequot; the printer under Control Panel-gt;Printers. If you only have one computer, you will have to buy a Print Server. This can be tricky with some cheap printers, but a print server looks just like an internet router. Most of them come with a setup cd that makes it simple for non-IT people. Good Luck!

Yes, it s definitely possible. What you need is a quot;wireless print serverquot;. Amazon, Best buy, and other electronic stores stock them. There are other ways to connect a printer to a wireless network as well. I ve included a source that has some useful information about 3 main ways to connect a printer to a wireless network.

Why does my printer take tooooo long to delete cancelled/errored printing jobs? -

My printer failed to print and later printer alien and some quot;blocksquot; characters and registered error so I had to cancel it. But it takes too long to delete the errored jobs and sometimes it does not work anymore. What do I do now?

Printers are sent a series of coded instructions. If the print queue is interrupted, it can confuse the printer. I sometimes have to turn it off or press the printer reset button to get it back in sync.

The best, easiest, and quickest way is to turn off your printer and restart you computer and printer. This will clear out the cache in both the printer and computer. The reason for the the wierd characters is because something was miscommunicated between the computer and printer ... just restart both.

Why does a jumble of characters and words sometimes print instead of the document I want? -

I have a Dell computer running XP and a Dell Color Laser Printer (3000cn). Sometimes It prints the first page or two of a document then says USB Data Wait, then starts printing a jumbled mix of the document and weird characters (%$#). Any ideas?

Sounds like a memory problem. Either your computer has not enough memory to print al arge document, or maybe the printer neds more RAM to handle large docs. In the meantime (I m sure you re doing this), print 2 pages at a time.

I think it means the printer head needs cleaning. Give that a shot!

How do I get rid of banding on my printer? -

Whenever I print out typed material, some of the typed lines havea white line going through it. How do I get rid of that?

Time for a cleaning. Open a document File Print click Properties there should be a tab or option for maintenance You should clean the print head and nozzles Might have to do it more than once if you have never run it before. Don t you have the User s Guide either printed or on the CD with the printer s driver?

Can you recover gold from inkjet printer cartridges? -

I heard the little round connectors could be cut out and salvaged for being gold. Would this be more a problem than a profit?

That is NOT gold. It s copper. With the price of gold right now, an inkjet cartridge would cost double what it already does!

you really think, think about how much you pay for a cartridge, i don t think, what i do know is that it has a small amount of copper.

Does anyone know if Dell computers are compatible with HP printers? -

It would be awesome if anyone does know, thanks!

Basically all printers are compatible with all computers, HOWEVER, you need to make sure that the printer you are wanting to use is compatible with the Operating System on your computer (ie. Windows XP, Windows Vista, etc.) Some of the newer printers on the market today, won t work with the older OS and some of the older printers won t work with the newer OS.

All windows and Mac computers are compatible with all HP printers.

Of course they re compatible. They d work just fine :)

yes our computer is a dell and we have a hp printer

yea bc we used to have an hp printer for out ddell

Is there a mailing program online? Like for printing on evelopes where you type in the address and hit print? -

Like a computer mail room? Where you can print on envelopes and things like that?

In Microsoft Office Word 2003, you can go to Tools --gt; Letters and Mailings --gt; Envelopes and Labels. You can then enter the delivery address and return address for your envelope in the provided fields. You can also go to the Options button to change envelope size. Also make sure you are loading the envelope into the printer correctly -- there should be a small diagram showing how to properly feed the envelope.

Can you get mini laptop printers that print A5 that are small and easy to carry around? -

I use my laptop at school and i want to be able to do work on laptop and the print it off anf put it into my book. I don;t know but i am wondering can you get a mini A5 printer thats light and easy to carry?

The canon Ip100 has been given good writeups for a portable printer. It weighs 2kg and will run off batteries. Its not cheap though http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/Sear…

there are many portable printers, which are able to print good prints, however i would recommend that you get it from a good photo service since they are much cheaper to do ( no ink problem, no maintainence, )

yes they are about 7x5amp; around 90quid

How to set up a network printer? -

I have a router connected to a windows xp computer with a printer in an office in the basement and a windows vista computer upstairs with a wireless card. How could i set it up to print on the printer in the office using a network when i click print on the vista computer?

Defining a shared printer on another computer is somewhat easier. Start by going to the Control Panel on the computer which has no printer and selecting Printers and Faxes, then Add Printer. You will be presented with a Wiz-ard for installing it. Make sure you select Network printer when presented with that option and if you don’t know the printer name (on the computer which connects to the printer), then click on Browse. You should have written down the printer name from the other computer, however. While browsing through the network, find the computer which has the printer, right click on the printer and click on Properties. Make sure the option to share this printer is selected by going to the Share tab. Since both computers now know that you want to share the printer, it is ready for printing. One caution however. The computer and printer and must remain ON in order for others to use it. If turned off, the network assumes you have no printer. The same holds true for sharing documents or other objects. The computer housing them has to be ON in order for others to access them. So what happens if you sell that printer, or install another one on the computer housing the shared printer? Then you have to go through that printer definition again, making sure you define that printer as a shared printer when you install it.

You ll need a print server, either wired or wireless (wired would be easiest if your router and printer are close enough). With the print server you ll get a disk which will allow you to print across the network by either PC (all put very simply!) HTH

How do I install my printer without the CD? -

I just got a new laptop, and I need to install my HP Photosmart 7700 printer onto it, but I lost the install CD. Is there any way that I can still install it? PLEASE HELP!

go to hp.com and enter your printer s model number and details if they ask. and you will get the driver from there to install. This is what I did for my HP Laserjet 1020 printer.

i had the same prob.. go on hp and then download it.. mine is downloading right now.. help me with my recent question plzzz

go to hp.com and get the drivers you need.

go to the HP support web site and download the printer driver.

You should be able to download the full software that was available to you on your lost disk at http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Lookup?h_…

you can download the driver from HP web site. goto http://www.hp.com and then search for your printer driver

You can get a driver at http://www.soft32.com/download_171523.ht…

can you specify what model number is your printer? http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/pfind… click on your printer, go to software and driver downloads, download your software/ driver

Yes. Go to HP website and find it there. Should be no problem if you registered. If not, call them and tell them. Should still be no problem.

you can download the install software from internet or get a new cd from a computer vendor.

How can I print a highlighted section of a webpage on a Mac? -

Safari, HP Printer, MacBook. I know on PCs, you click the box but I can t find something similar on my macbook. Thanks.

To print a highlighted section of a web page do the following: 1. Highlight what you want to print. 2. Right click or control-click and select Copy. 3. Copy this to a blank TextEdit page. (Text Edit is a small program which comes with the Mac and should be in your dock). 4. Print the page. There are several excellent programs which greatly facilitate what you want to do and also make it easy to be very specific about what you want to print. SnapX is one such program. Go to Versiontracker.com and do a search on quot;Web snapshotsquot; - a lot of program choices will come up. Also macupdate.com is another good site to search Mac programs. Macworld.com has a link on their home page for quot;Mac OS X 911 helpquot; which is a fully searchable archive for a large number of Mac OS function issues. Also, you can use the quot;Grabquot; application on your Mac. It can be found in the applications folder or simply go to the task bar at the top of your screen and click on the name of the browser you are using, scroll to quot;Servicesquot; and then select quot;Grab.quot; DrEarp

The quickest easiest way I found is the same as mentioned above, copy and paste in notebook,

IM not sure on macs.. but i do this 1. highlight what you want to print 2. go to filegt;print 3. select quot;selectionquot; 4. Print If there is nno such thing like that I would recomend putting it in Word or notepad with copy+paste and print like that

Mac guy here! there is no way to do it in Safari or Firefox.... but Selecting amp; copying the text and pasting into a TextEdit doc, retains the formatting and makes printing snippets very easy.

How can i install an Epson Stylus SX200 onto my computer without the disc? -

I have just bought an Epson Stylus SX200 second hand and didn t receive the disc, what can I do to install it on my computer?

You should be able to go to the Epson website and download the drivers that you need to get your printer to work. Just go to the website, click on drivers amp; support, and then locate your model. The website should contain all the software that you need.

You can download and install the driver from

Download driver from this site: http://www.epson.co.uk/Store/Printers-an…

Go to Epsons web site amp; they will have a free download for it. That s what I did with my Canon printer so you would think Epson would do the same!

See if Epson s website has a driver download for it.

How can I connect my laptop WIRELESSLY to my brother MFC 620CF printer? -

I have a wi-fi ready laptop, plugged into a broad-band connection in my living room, but my printer is next door in my office. My Brother MFC 620 multi-function printer is supposed to be network ready and feel that there is an obvious way of printing wirelessly with it from my laptop in the next room, but don t know how; can anyone help?

have a wirless capable router then do this Set up Home network =============== If you cannot find these locations search for them in windows help files Click start gt;help and support. Wire in all computers and printer to the router using cat 5 cable from their Ethernet ports. Cat 5 is faster than wifi. If you buy your router from your ISP there is a good chance they will set it up for you. Check your ISP website for contact number. Your ISP has to connect the router to the internet. Then on each computer: 1. My Computer gt;Folder Optionsgt;View Tabgt;tick “use simple file sharing” 2. In My computer Right click the Hard Drive that you want to share gt;sharing and search gt; tick share the folder in network 3. On desktop screen select the my computer icon and right click the icon gt;properties gt;computer name tab gt; Changegt; bullet workgroup and type in WORKGROUP 4. In control panel category view gt;network and internet connections a. select network connections gt; Find the LAN connection Icon gt;right click gt;enable b. Find the Windows Firewall pop up gt;bullet Off ( disable any other firewall programs) c. Find the LAN connection icon gt;right click gt;repair d. In LAN connection properties pop up gt; Tick the four items in the main window gt; in properties screen for Internet Protocol gt;general tab gt;bullet two auto instructions 5. Using Explorer, expand My Network Places in the directory tree gt;select Workgroup gt; click on workgroup and what you can see in the results. This is your home network., you should see each computer that is in the Workgroup domain. 6. You can plug a network printer in the router and load the network printer drivers into each computer and each computer can access the same printer. 7. If you have a sensitive part of a computer that you do not want to share on the network, right click and un tick the sharing.. This can be the Hard drive, partition, folder or file. 8. You do not have to have sharing enabled on your computer to see others, you need sharing on Your computer enabled so others can see you. 9. After all computers are turned on and running, enable the firewall program you use on each computer. 10. Each computer will require their own antivirus and internet security programs. 11. Using the internet browser access the router (see router instructions) by typing in the IP address in the browser go bar. 12. Enable the routers wifi 13. on computers that You want to access the router’s wifi, boot up and run their wifi wizard to find the router 14. If you want to network the wifi computer you have to do the same from step 1 above to it.

read the manual. download latest software.

I think you need a wireless bridge if the MFC 620CF only has a wired LAN. See the link for a suitable device.

well u can wirelessly do anything but the question is???? Is your brother s printer wirelessly ready/compatible nevertheless u can add a bluetooth connection to it but thats another story....

Hello, (ANS) NOTE: You can only print wirelessly to a wireless enabled printer, which is NOT quite the same thing as a printer that can be connected to a conventional cabled (wired) network. **If you look it might be possible to add a conventional network card to your multi-function printer. But this is for networked printing or TCP/IP printing. **YES! you can now buy wireless printers and they are NOT expensive either. **I don t know if its now possible to add a wireless network card or adapter to a conventional printer like yours. But if you could then that would be your ideal solution to the problem. You might have more success by contacting the printers makers and actually just ask them, can I make my printer a wireless printer and if yes! whats required? a quick phone call or email to the technical support people would get you the answer I m sure. Kind Regards Ivan computer veteran, MCSE trained.

Why does my printer print an extra blank page after each print page? -

Epson 942 will print a seperate blank page after each print job. How can I stop this. I have looked all over the printer menu and find nothing. I end up trashing half my paper rather than wrestle every other sheet back into the printer.

Hi What you need to do is choose print preview. Than choose print but, click on the option that says, print 1 page only and not the option where it says all.

I wonder if somewhere in your settings you have it set to print a cover sheet/separator pg amp; because most printers let you set the order of the print job - your settings are last first (5,4,3,2,1,coversheet) rather than first last (the coversheet would print first then pg 1 amp; so on). For my printer I would find this setting by going to start gt; printers gt; right click on the printer amp; select properties.

This might be a quot;seperator pagequot;. Some printers have this function so that you can tell where one job ends and another begins. This can be useful (although wasteful) in a multi user environment like an office where people need to grab their jobs off the output tray and not spend too much time checking where their job ends and a colleague s begins.

Under the printer quot;propertiesquot; in control panel - printers, look for a setting called a quot;separator pagequot;, it sounds like it is enabled. Note: If this helps you - don t forget to rate this as Best Answer :)

mine does that too.. i dunno why but i wrestly it back into my printer and u should too.. saving paper = stopping globabl warming .. stopping global warming = saving the world!

check your printer preferences.

some printers are wack lol

it is just to make sure that there isnt anything else on the link u are printing

Is there a way to hook up wirelss laptop to your printer? -

I have a Sony Vaio, I am using router to connect to internet. Router is also hooked up to my desktop computer that has its printer connected to it. Is there a way I could send my documents to print from laptop to the printer somehow?

To access your printer over the net you need to turn on Print Sharing on the computer that has the printer plugged in. To share your printer Open Printers and Faxes. Right-click the printer you want to share, and then click Sharing. The options you see on the Sharing tab differ depending on whether sharing is enabled on your computer. For instructions on what to do next, click the option that describes what you see on the Sharing tab. I see text stating that printer sharing must be turned on You need to enable printer sharing by running the Network Setup Wizard. Start it by clicking the link on the Sharing tab, and then follow the instructions. Once sharing is enabled, begin this procedure again. I see options for sharing or not sharing the printer On the Sharing tab, click Share this printer, and then, in the Share name box, type a name for the shared printer. If you share the printer with users on different hardware or different operating systems, click Additional Drivers. Click the environment and operating system for the other computers, and then click OK to install the additional drivers. Drivers for users running other versions of Windows (Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT 4.0) are located on the Support CD. Printer drivers for Windows NT 3.1 and Windows NT 3.5 are not included. Click OK, or, if you have installed additional drivers, click Close. If you have followed the steps listed above and still cannot share this printer, open Windows Firewall. (To open Windows Firewall, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Windows Firewall.) Then, on the Exceptions tab, select the File and Printer Sharing check box.

plug the printer cord usually a usb cable to your laptop.

Yes, share the printer over the network.

just plug it in

Your router has to be wireless or your printer server. Otherwise you must use two wireless usb adapters. One for each computer with one computer on that is connected directly to the printer. You have to buy two adapters for ad-hoc setup. Use add printers in the control panel the answer above has much info use it. Go to Help and Support Startgt;Help and Support Before you begin, make sure you know the name of the printer that you want to add. Sometimes the name is displayed on the printer itself. If the name is not on the printer, contact the printer owner or your network administrator to find out the printer s name before following the steps below. Click to open Printers. Click Add a printer. In the Add Printer Wizard, select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer. In the list of available printers, select the one you want to use, and then click Next. If prompted, install the printer driver on your computer. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. Complete the additional steps in the wizard, and then click Finish. Tips Available printers can include all printers on a network, such as Bluetooth and wireless printers or printers that are plugged into another computer and shared on the network. Make sure that you have permission to use these printers before adding them to the computer. For more information, see What are printer permissions? It s a good idea to print a test page to check if the printer is working correctly. For more information, see Print a test page. To remove a printer Note You can t remove a printer if you have items in the print queue. If items are waiting to print when you try to remove a printer, Windows will wait until printing is complete, and then remove the printer. If you have permission to manage documents on the printer, you can also cancel all print jobs and then try to remove the printer again. For more information, see Cancel printing and What are printer permissions? Click to open Printers. Right-click the printer that you want to remove, and then click Delete. If you can t delete the printer, right-click it again, click Run as administrator, and then click Delete. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. Is it cheaper to send my pictures to be printed, or use a printer? -

I do a lot of scrapbooking and I spend a lot of money on printing pictures. I am curious if it s cheaper to print out pictures from CVS or Walmart, or get one of those small printers that prints out 4x6s.

Depends on the printer, the ink, and the photo processor. Have you looked into online services like snapfish.com? They can sometimes be cheaper than CVS (and they run free specials). You can get the cost per printout from the printer manufacturer...some have that cost advertised at the point of sale. It s usually very similar to the cost of regular photo processing. However, if you use your existing printer (assuming you have a nice color printer) and you refill the ink cartridges yourself (it can be slightly messy until you get the hang of it, but it isn t hard), the cost per print can be very affordable. (Though, on most of the newer printers you have to find a way to trick your computer/printer to let you refill the ink yourself. This can be a pain. On older models, this was not a problem.)

just a fraction cheaper but cheaper

Advice from anyone who owns or knows about laser jets? -

I need to purchase a laser jet printer to print out notes for school. I will be printing quite a bit. I need just black and white, nothing fancy, and I need something inexpensive. Any recommendations? I would greatly appreciate it.

Do not go HP, their cartridges are tiny and will quickly break the bank of a university student. I would recommend something small and reliable like a samsung ML 2010. You can pick one up for about $70 on the high end, the cartridges is rated for 3500 pages (you will get a starter cartridge with the unit good for 500 pages). The cartridge can easily be found in a re-manufactured or compatible cartridge and should only cost no more than $70 for you 3500 pages. Compare that to the common HP P1505 right now. Unit $100 with a starter cartridge good for 200 pages. A replacement tcartridgegwill run you about $60 and only print 1500 pages. I think it is worth the extra $10 for 2000 pages. If you do not need colour don t go colour, that CLP mentioned takes 4 cartirdges and a drum. Each cartirdge cost about $40 and up and will only print 1000 pages. You will be changing them often, as regardless of what you printing colour toner will be used. Keep it simple, if all you need in monochrome, go monochrome. They are cheaper to run, much faster and there are fewer parts to repalce. A Monochrome laser printer is normally much smaller as well, in a cramped dorm room, ever inch of desk space counts. HEre is a link to the ML-2010 http://www.google.com/products/catalog?i…

Since you can get a great color laser for $80, I say go for it. Lasers have sharper text and are generally faster than inkjets. While toner cartridges are more expensive than ink, they print more pages, so the cost per page is lower. You can get a good color laser today for $80! Samsung CLP-300 at http://www.staples.com/office/supplies/p… I have this printer and it s really nice. Toner cartridges are more expensive then inkjet cartridges ($70 for a set of 4 at http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp ) but they last for about 2,000 pages. It does a nice job on photos, but not quiote as good as an inkjet.

HP is a good brand

Any one no how to reset my printer to recognize the ink is full? -

I have refilled the ink cartridge in my canon mp pixma160 but it doesnt recognize that it is full and will not print. Isnt there a reset button or something ?

Most likely your printer cardtridge has a sensor that can not be reset. The computer senses the ink level, and if it ever dips below a certain point then that cartdridge will be considered empty even if you refill it. This is designed to force you to buy overpriced ink cartridges.

Hi, From your question I conclude that you have re-filled an empty cartridge and not replaced it by a new one. Following the User Manual from Cannon: If you replace a cartridge that was previously removed the low ink warning dialog box will report inaccurate. Please see User manual Chapter 9 page 70 -R.

The newer print cartridges have chips in them that render them unusable after they are empty. Throw it out and buy a new one. You could refill it til spring gets here and it aint gonna work.

What are the goods and bads about the HP photosmart 2570 printer? -

There are a few reports about paper feed problems in various forums. Are they just isolate cases or it is a serious problem? One says the paper feed problem can be overcome by cleaning the paper sensor. Any comments?

I think the paper feed sensor just does the alignment, ie. checking where the paper ends so that it knows where to start the margins. Most printers (not just the Photosmart 2570) have some paper feed problems after some time because of the dust and paper fibre accumulated on the rollers. My PhotoSmart 2575 does fine - there is a funny roller sound when it kicks the paper out but I may just have a funky unit and it doesnt affect the print quality or other operations, including paper feed. My friend s same printer seem fine. I like the print quality though, especially when I print on the photo papers. I think it s better than some of the newer models on the market, but then again, photo quality is always subjective. To clean the rollers, here re some steps on hp s website for some other photosmarts... 1) Turn off the all-in-one and unplug the power cord. 2) Remove the rear access door 3) Clean each roller using a clean lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water (distilled water preferred). 4) Rotate the rollers to clean the entire surface. 5) Verify that the paper feed rollers on the rear access door are clean and rotate easily. 6) Re-seat the rear access door. 7) Plug in the power cord and turn on the all-in-one.

How can I get my printer to print color? -

I bought new cartridges (color and black) and I put them in correctly. I ve checked to make sure it s not set for grayscale, and the box is not checked. What can I do??

remove the printer drivers and start from there. Normally in your Properties where you have chosen not to print in gray scale look around to see if there is any other buttons/options to were it prints in color.

What kind a printer is it? Check the printer options If you can do a head clean other wise you need to check the inside of the printer where you plug the ink cartridges and clean them Hope this helps!

The settings on your printer is set for black and white printing. Check the manual (or google it) that came with your printer - it should tell you how to change the settings.

When printing my e-mails the text comes in very Tiny Letters. How can I print in normal size letters ? -

My e-mails on Printing (Not on the Screen) are very Tiny ans almost unreadable text. How can I solve this problem ?. What can I do to get the print out in larger letters.

Let me guess... Windows XP with IE7? There is actually a fix available from Microsoft for this (it is also part of SP3 for XP. Check this out: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932538 If this is not the issue. Then I would like to know what quot;programquot; you are printing out of and what printer you are using. --Will watch for additional details and update then.

Does this happen in all applications? Like when you print from word, notepad, wordpad? If it does then it s the printer driver. If not, only from e-mail, then you may need to check on your browser. Try to use a different browser like Mozilla Firefox and ifit works then you may need to do a repair on your existing browser if not uninstall/reinstall

You could try copying and pasting it into a microsoft word docomunt or a notepad document on your computer. You can then use that to change the font to any style, color, and size you want.
