How do I make my printer wireless? -

I have a Kodak EasyShare and I am wanting to set it up to be wireless. I have a wireless laptop, is there something I can plug into my printer to make it wireless or what options do I have?

You could use a wireless print server to make the printer wireless. Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-G-PrintSe… should work

Netgear, Linksys, Belkin, D-Link, and others have Wireless USB Print servers that will work with many printers. Visit their websites and look for the contact us info. Let them know what model printer you have and they may be able to tell you if their product will work with your printer. Not all print servers will work with all printers. www.netgear.com www.linksys.com www.belkin.com www.dlink.com

Of course you can! I m not familiar with that specific model of printer, but some have Bluetooth built in. In that case, you could buy a Bluetooth adapter for the laptop at Wal-Mart for $15.00. For printers that don t have Bluetooth, you will either need to have a second computer for you to hook it to, or a print server. If you already have a wireless network, you can simply hook the printer up to another computer, preferably one that stays close to the printer, and you can quot;sharequot; the printer under Control Panel-gt;Printers. If you only have one computer, you will have to buy a Print Server. This can be tricky with some cheap printers, but a print server looks just like an internet router. Most of them come with a setup cd that makes it simple for non-IT people. Good Luck!

Yes, it s definitely possible. What you need is a quot;wireless print serverquot;. Amazon, Best buy, and other electronic stores stock them. There are other ways to connect a printer to a wireless network as well. I ve included a source that has some useful information about 3 main ways to connect a printer to a wireless network.
