I printed on one side of the paper now how do I print on the back of it?

Look in the page settings for your printer and see if it has print odd and print even pages. Print the odd pages. Depending on how your out basket is arranged you may have to now reverse the pages and place them in upside down. Now print the even pages. Try it with just a few pages first. Make sure that you do not have cheap light paper or the print will show through. You may need a heavier paper.

You buy an expensive printer with an in and out feeder or you take the page, put it back in the feed tray, but upside down to the original (i.e. usually face down) and print the next page. Some printer programs will allow you to stop at the end of each page so you can feed in a new page or refeed, otherwise you have to print one page at a time from the source program

I have found out through trial and error that you put the page just printed face up with the top of the page facing the into the printer. If this does not work then try putting the top of the page facing down out of the printer. However, you always want the printed side facing up! Your computer does not see your printer. You might check the cables including the power cable. If the printer will self test and the cables are good, you may have a bad USB port. Switch ports after self testing the PRN.

Any Lightscribe drive can work on a mac as long as it has the Mac Symbol on the box it came with. however everything pretty much has a Mac OS Driver. so if you can t find it, check with apple or the manufacturer s site! I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. When you burned the letter to CD did you burn it as an ISO image rather than just a regular PC CD. If you did the latter you won t be able to read the CD on a Mac, it needs to be burned as an ISO image so that it can be read on Mac and PC.

I would first print a Test Page (see your printer s manual). Second I would print a one-page document from Word or any other word-processor program. If it takes too long to print one page, you may have the incorrect driver. Try de-fragmenting your computer or install Clean-up to take out temp. files you do not need.

The fact that you re printing 196 pages might have something to do with it. Especially if you haven t used your printer like that before. Just be patient, it s a lot to print, even for a realy good printer.

I m assuming your running windows XP. If you got to Startgt;Printers and Faxes, and then right click the printer you want to share and choose sharing. Click share this printer and give it a Share name that you will be able to remember. Then on your other computers that are connected to the same wireless network if you got to Startgt;Pritners and faxes and choose to add printer, then network printer and choose the second option(Connect to this printer) and type in \\IPAddress\sharename, the IP address you will use is the IP address from which you shared the printer from, and the share name is the name you gave the printer when you shared it. you can find your ip address in network connections, and if you right click wireless network connection and click status, it should say there.

The printer detects jams through the use of switches. The paper feeds and hits the first switch telling the printer that the paper hopper has paper in it. It then looks for a second switch to be tripped to verify that the paper has fed in. Somewhere in that process your printer is failing. It could be a small scrap of paper, a stuck switch, paper chafe (dust), a disconnected switch cable or a faulty controller circuit in the printer. Someone has to poke around and determine which it is.

The sponges in the ink cartridges are to deliver ink by capillary action. They actually were a more refined way of delivering the ink. The older inkl cartridges have a bladder and if there was a problem with the nozzle they tended to leak in the printer. The sponge type does awaay with this risk.

Printing smaller really is not going to save you much on ink. As the image becomes finer your printer will increase the DPI to maintain sharpness. If you want to safe on ink, print only in draft or fast draft mode.

Depending on what application you re using and what printer (ie, the printer driver amp; software that comes with it for extra features), you can also print multiple pages onto a single sheet of paper. What I typically do is to print in draft mode which uses less ink so the printout is lighter, but it allows you to keep the page contents the same size but uses less ink. Depending on your printer, it can have different quality printing.

Lexmark and Dell have certain models of printer where you pay very little for the printer and then discover the ink costs a fortune. It may be cheaper to buy a new printer than to get ink for yours.
