How do you restart a printer spooler? -

I have an hp Deskjet D1341 and I was on word pad the other day and couldn t print up my page! I have an eMachines computer.Help?

If you have printer icon or printer on start menu list, click on it. If not, then open control panel, under hardware click on printers. When you have printers windows open, click your printer you are have problems with. Other pop up screen will show your print jobs. From the menu you can delete all jobs or just delete the job that is causing the problem. Just turn off your printer for 10 seconds or more to clear out printer s memory. Turn on your printer. Now you can delete the print job.

Enter the command prompt (Start -gt; Run, then type in cmd and press enter). Type the command... net stop spooler ...and press enter. Wait until it says the service was stopped successfully. Then run the command... net start spooler That s the printer spooler service restarted! If you re still having trouble you may want to clear out the print files, which are usually stored in... C:\Windows\system32\spool\printers\
