I load the cd amp; then it comes up with this error of print spooler has been deleted how do I get it back? I ve been into Run and ran Regedit and followed stuff people have told me but still doesnt work do I retypre anything in the dependon group?

Try the following fix... If the Print Spooler service fails when printing, when Windows starts or it can not be restarted, the usual reason is that one or more printer drivers is defective. If the Print Spooler service is not running, the Printers and Faxes folder will be empty and you can not use it to remove (or add) printers or printer drivers. Check in Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs; if there is an entry relating to one of the printers, select it, then click Change/Remove. Follow the dialog and quot;uninstall allquot; or quot;remove allquot; as appropriate. Some quot;printer softwarequot; have programs that show up here and it will be a good idea to remove those before going any further. If the Print Spooler service is not operational, or you want to make certain there are no printer driver remnantsr use cleanspl.exe from the Windows 2000, XP or 2003 Resource Kit. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai… Cleanspl.exe from the Windows 2003 Resource Kit tools will work on Windows Vista. Unless your huring for space why not reinstall the lexmark printer driver? It is possible a file or two might have been in use when you went to remove the printer and an entry or file stayed behind. I am not sure what 1075 means, maybe you can lok it up and we can advise you better. Once you install the driver then delete it again. Maybe the second time around it will remove all associated files. I assume your new HP became your default printer automatically? You might also consider installing the BASIC drivers. In other words instead of using the driver CD or DVD that came with the Lexmark reinstall but use the windows deault drivers. Windows installs just the basic drivers used to make the Lemark work. The stock CD s install all types of programs and files that you don t truly need. I m amazed when I see 500 megs of files get installed when 20 megs of drivers would work fine but thats just the way some printer folks promote software etc. Check your disc space prior to installing stock windows lemark drivers. If negligable just leave them if it solves the problems. If its taking a lot of room try removing the windows lemark drivers and maybe your error will be history. Good luck COley

Make sure the Lexmark printer is completely removed..I know you must have removed it.. Go to Start -gt; Run -gt; services.msc check for the Lexmark service.. What make and model of printer do you have? What plastic exactly did you remove? If it was a thin flexible piece like tape, then it needed to come off a new cartridge for it to work anyhow and you re fine. If it was a hard plastic piece that was glued on or something and you broke it off, then you may have a problem and should replace the cartridge to prevent a potential ink leakage problem.

Lexmark refilled inkjet cartridges need to be quot;Resetquot;; the refiller should have known amp; done this. I would take it back to where you bought it, exchange for another, amp; ask if they are sure the cartridge has been quot;Resetquot; I m not saying this is postivitly the problem, but it sure sounds like it. I had an Epson. What I found was that if you used any cartridge except Epson s own brand, which were pretty expensive, the printer would detect that you were using a substitute make and would sometimes be awkward about accepting the new cartridge. It was also impossible to refill Epson cartridges unless you had some special software to tell the printer that you had done this, otherwise it would still keep telling you that the refilled cartridge was empty and refuse to work. Personally, I was glad when it finally broke down and I could replace it with a Hewlett Packard.

I cannot see what the problem is, you simply pull old cartridges out and click new ones in, then they go through the motions of inking for a couple of seconds and then are ready to use. Perhaps you are not clicking them into place properly and/or taking off the tape. Looking at one of your answerers, yes CISS are a good idea but not yet available for ALL printers.

It s only possible if your have a network printer with an Ethernet port or built-in wireless print server. If you have USB printers you cannot make them network printers but there is a new nifty belkin product out there that makes 5 wireless USB ports which then you can share amongst the network as it will appear on every PC. Yeah your best bet is to get one of those Belkin print servers. I found one on ebay for around $50. If you don t have the print server, the computer that the printer is hooked up to will always have to be on when others try to print (in other words, if the host computer is off, nobody will be able to print) but if you wanted to save $50 and just do it that way, you can set it up in Control Panel (Setup a Home Network)

Have you aligned and cleaned the print head? Is you card stock overly fibrous or porous? If you have a fibrous or porous paper, or your printer is not properly aligned (or your image quality stinks) you will get a quot;fuzzyquot; picture.

If you feel your printer is using too much ink, here are a few tips you can try and things to remember. Temperature and humidity will effect ink use. Keep the temperature and humidity lower. The higher quality you choose to print with, the more ink it will use. Try using Draft (if possible) and standard for more important papers. The heavier the paper, the more ink it will use. Photo papers use more ink because of their thickness (weight, ml.). Opt for the lightest weight paper you can get by with. Obviously, if you are printing photos, you want to use photo paper But there are different weights in the photo paper. Leave your printer on. Whenever you turn it off and then back on, you will hear all the noise. This is actually recharging the ink cartridges and that uses ink.

I was unable to find the model M276 listed on Sharp s website (although I did confirm that the M276 is a valid product model based on the fact that it is being sold widely on consumer electronics websites as well as eBay). However, I did find drivers for the AR-M277 which may work in your situation. Your best bet would be to find the original CD that came with the copier, obviously. I suggest trying the AR-M277 first. Why don t you just keep that printer. Let the color go dry and leave it in. Change you printer settings just to print in black. Depending on your printer, you color may never work again so be sure that s what you want. I have one that I did that to about 3 years ago and it just prints in black. My old dried out color are still in there, probably permanently. lol

How do I print onto a disk using my Cannon MP500? -

Hey I have a Cannon MP500 printer and it can print on disks. I have a printable DVD disk and want to print directly onto it. I tried using the program CD-Label Print which came with the printer and says it can print directly onto the disk but the printer just wants to print onto paper even when the disk in in it ready to print. Does anyone know how to print onto the disk?

I don t think they meant for it to print directly onto a DVD disk (the theory here is that the paper is rolled through the back of the printer and under the print heads and DVDs aren t flexible enough for this). you will need to buy blank labels run them through the printer then stick the labels on the DVDs. If you want direct disk labeling you can check out Light Scribe drives. they use a special disk coating that when flipped over (shiny side UP) will burn the label directly on the DVD.
