What would be a good printer to buy to make logo on t-shirts? -

I want to make shirts with sayings on it or logos and would like to know a printer to buy that is not crazy high price.

You can t put the t-shirt in the printer, so I take it you are going to print onto iron-on transfer paper. In that case any decent ink jet printer will work. The quality of the iron-on paper and the composition of the t-shirt will probably be a bigger factor.

Any good picture printer is fine.You don t put your t-shirt in your printer-just the special foil that you have to iron on your t-shirt.

Most of the photographers I know that need to produce a digital comp use Epson ink jet printers, the most expensive you can afford and photo glossy paper.

Why is my Epson leaving spike marks on the paper? -

I have an Epson DX4400 photo printer. Ive set it to recognise that its printing photos on glossy paper. Whenever I tell it to print, the little cogs that move the paper along leave little spike marks on the paper that appear as a line of white dots. Surely not every printer does this? Can anyone tell me how to stop it doing this?

I bought my HP PSC 1200 printer/scanner before Vista came out. HP doesn t provide the software for Vista that I used to use to clean and align the cartridges when I had XP. Is there a way I can still do this, either within Vista or possibly by pushing buttons on the printer manually? Thanks!

Follow these steps to clean the ink cartridges: 1. Open the all-in-one with the power on and then remove the ink cartridges by lightly pressing down on the cartridge while gently pulling it toward you. 2. Inspect the print cartridge ink nozzles and contacts for ink and debris buildup. 3. To clean away any buildup, dip a clean cotton swab into distilled water (or clean water if distilled water is not available), and squeeze any excess water from the swab. 4. While holding the ink cartridge by the sides gently wipe away any debris buildup. 5. Reinsert the ink cartridges and perform the ink cartridge alignment. 6. Print a test page to check the ink cartridges and flush any remaining buildup from the ink cartridge nozzles. Alignment: 1. Turn on the HP PSC 1200 or 1300 series product. 2. Disconnect the USB cable from the all-in-one. 3. Press the sequence of front panel buttons below to start the print cartridge alignment process. The button-press sequence must be completed within ten seconds. It might take several tries to complete the sequence within ten seconds. 1. Press and hold Cancel . 2. While holding Cancel , press On . 3. When the Check Paper and Check Print Cartridge lights begin to blink simultaneously, release both buttons. 4. Press Cancel again. 5. Press Copies . 6. Press Paper Type . 7. Press Color Start Copy . The alignment page will begin printing. If the alignment page does not print, repeat the button-press sequence in this step. 4. When the alignment page has printed, place the page face down on the scanner glass and press Scan . The alignment is complete when the On light stops blinking. 5. Reconnect the USB cable.

You really need to narrow things down a little, since this is an area where geographic location is a key factor. I use Demon s fax to email service and find it works great. It is a free option with many of their access packages so obviously you need to be in the UK and a Demon subscriber to use it.

My HP Officejet Pro L7580 has somehow taken over the other printers plugged into my computer. What do I do? -

I have an HP Laser printer that I like plugged into my desktop and ever since I installed the L7580, it actually turns my laser printer off or causes it to say it s missing paper. I installed the L7580 driver on my laptop for work and it does the same thing. It won t let me print to any printer unless I remove the driver. Any idea how I might fix this so I can use other printers?

Can t say for sure since we don t know what your other printers are. I m wondering if some of the quot;printer filesquot; are shared and that is what is causing the conflict. When you install the 7580 do you set it as the default printer? How are they connected to the desktop? To the laptop? Have you tried updating the drivers for all the printers?

Assuming you are running windows XP and that the printer is attached locally to a computer, you can use sharing to enable others to use the printer on your network. The computer the printer is connected to must be on for other users to print to this computer. Steps: From the computer the printer is attached to, click Start, then Printers and Faxes. Right click the printer you want to share and select quot;sharingquot; from the pop up window. A menu will give you some options to input. Apply the sttings and the printer should be available for other s to use.

How would you fix a paper jam of about 30 pages in an HP Photosmart 1115 printer? -

I inserted more paper during a print job and the printer grabbed all of the paper at once and needless to say, the paper is now stuck inside the printer way too deep for me to just pull it out. Any suggestions? Model is HP Photosmart Inkjet 1115

there should be a back door on this printer to get to the paper rollers. open this up and try to pull it out this way. newer hp s paper rollers aren t as hard to turn as the olders ones so it should be easy to do this. open up the front cover too in case its that far inside. if its possible pull 2 sheets out at a time.until the stack is small enough to pull the rest of it all at once.

Im not sure if this will help you, but.... My mom recently had a paper jam, which I fixed. I tried to unscrew the parts.. Didnt really work out (might for you). It was only a few sheets and I think it was a laser. I pulled out as much as I could, and kept printing the test sheet while repeatedly pulling it out when jammed. After a while, the jammed piece was burnt and it was fixed ^^ But thirty pages... I think you would have better luck unscrewing or such. Or, if possible, find another angle to pull it out from?

hi start at the back where the paper is not touching the rollers and pull gentley working towards the rollers that pull the paper through you will not damage the printer this way untill you get to the last view then be very careful pulling them out slowly good luck

If your wireless router has CAT5 RJ45 ports lt;ethernetgt; and your printer has a card in it, you can use it as a member of your LAN. However, doing it wirelessly? You need a printer with a wireless ethernet card.

two options- pay for a wireless/wired printer server that gives your printer an IP address on your network ($50-100 dollars is my guess) or have one hub PC that s always on with the printer attached to it. Enable File and printer sharing across the network and make sure the other PCs on the network can quot;seequot; this central PC. Search microsoft help or online to get the settings right. Once they can you can install a network printer (from the hub PC) on the two other PCs. This will work perfectly. Downsides: network sharing is a security risk so make sure you know what your doing amp; the main PC has to be on (and signed in) for the printer to get the files. I use this at here with a laptop and two other PCs so it definately will work.

My printer was wireless and I put it up on the network and we use it for 3 home computers and for our regular visitors.. Works fine. But I do recommend removing the original driver and then re-installing for wireless.

is it a network capable printer? just plug a patch cord from the router into the ethernet port on the printer. if not, linksys has a wireless print server available that will connect your printer to the network. if not an option, turn on file and print sharing on the computer that has the printer hooked up to it then share the printer with the others on the network.

Generally, the idea is to either connect the printer to an quot;A/Bquot; switch or USB hub, or Share the printer off of one computer and connect to it with the other over the network.

you can do one of two things, either connect one computer to the printer using a Parallel port and the other using a USB.
