What would it cost to print a 425 page document at Kinkos? -
If it s in black and white on both sides. You will probably pay around 11 cents to 16 cents per side (so around 20 cents a page).

Does it make sense for you to do the entire job yourself or are you better off doing the initial layout and then taking it to a Staples or Kinkos to have them do the final output? A hi-speed, hi-quality photo printer which can duplex flyers can be expensive. If you re just going to do the initial layout, you can get a printer for $100. I used to do jobs like these. It was much more cost-effective to bring the finished product to a professional printer for mass production.
I always get my ink cartridges at http://www.castleink.com/_Lexmark.html Castle Ink only carries remanufactured ink cartridges, but in my eyes they work just as well as the originals (but cost a lot less),
We have got some very good prices from EBay suppliers.. I am looking at ten black cartridges, #75. They come from www.imageex.com (Image Warehouse). Prices were in the $10 range. I have no idea how they can sell at such low prices when the going rate at discount houses is in the $30 to $40 range, and more. Can t hurt to check it out.
You can consider new compatible or remanufactured cartridges, and they have one year warranty.
you can buy those ink cartridges at: Wal Mart

you might want to change your printer resolution to lower dpi, it will print much faster
Some printers print slower than others, its hardware based, not something you can alter.
Its possible, but not recommended.
While it is possible to refill it with another kind of ink, you can not use a different cartridge unless HP says it will take it.
The cartridges are generally set to the model of printer. So you can not put cartridges for one model into printers of another model. If you are talking about physically injecting ink and the ink kit said it was for the #23 cart then this would not be an issue - providing it has the correct number of colours. Are you looking at a different cartridge because it is cheaper but looks similar? If this is the case check the compatibility chart on the cartridge. Sometimes companies such as HP create part filled cartridges for their printer models. What this means is that you will pay less for the cartridge, but this is a false economy as you will be getting half as much ink if not less for a slight reduction.
i is possible but definitely not advisable . Have tried it and found the Printer goes for a SIX...Wiser to go for a Good catridge which doesnot spoil your printer....Penny Wise Pound foolish..
You can t you have to wait until Lexmark releases a vista driver for your printer if that ever happens.
Discontinued Lexmark X75 it istime to buy a new printer lexmark does not make that one any more
It is not VISTA Compatible..
When you print something from a website and the print box comes up, click on preferences tab, and when it comes up click on color . Then click on print in grayscale and change the setting from High Quality to Black ink only, click apply at the bottom, then OK. It should print in black ink.
Sounds like your printing head is stop up. Take it out and get you some rubbing alcohol amp; a small bold or cup and pour just a little alcohol in it and put your printing head in standing it up to cover the holds in it let sit for about 10 mins. then take it out and blot it with a lint free rag do not rub. it should fix it. If that don t fix it you may be out of ink.
if you are printing a document from microsoft word then you have just to do is select the whole matter and then change its colour to black and then press ctrl+b. It will print in dark black. If the problem continues then you might not be using original ink cartridges.
When you click PRINT, then make sure that the QUALITY of the output is set to BEST or HIGH. You probably have your print output set to DRAFT.
If it prints the alignment page every time, then the printer might not be properly configured. I remember running into a printer on the job that required you to scan the alignment page after it was printed (it was an all-in-one printer). If your printer JUST prints, then try re-installing the driver.
It sounds to me as though the driver installation was not completed. If you have an all-in-one, they often require you to scan an alignment page before the installation is quot;final.quot; If you ve been through all that, or if it s strictly a printer, then I d suggest going to the manufacturer s web site, downloading the latest version of the driver, and reinstalling it. If THAT doesn t take care of the problem, it s time to call tech support (giant headache, I know). Good luck!
i would buy a black and white cartridge for your printer, because if you use all the black and you try to prind color it will come out funky
print grayscale

get a driver, it s easy.
Two key pieces of information are missing from you: - Your printer brand/model and - the software you re printing from Printer font is typically controlled by the software you are using. This is why knowing the software would help greatly.
Little to go on --- there are quot;defaultquot; settings in the driver for the printer. Make sure they are not selecting a very small font. (same for the program you are printing from) Print a test pattern from the printer s internal tests -- if tiny, problem is there. Maybe - Some are larger if the program is over-riding other settings.
Sounds like you haven t installed the printer software. If you haven t, unplug it and install the software. The software instructions will tell you when to plug in the printer. You may have to restart the PC afterwards.
It s possible that the plastic gears that drive the cradle are damaged. If there s definitely no physical jam from paper it can be a broken part.
Yes. You get more pages out of it. That s what quot;high yieldquot; means.
There are many other options for saving money on ink. You can order re-fill kits for your cartridges. This involves some effort on your part and can turn out to be a messy affair if it s not done right. Believe me - I m all thumbs! That is why I prefer to use generic ink cartridges. After trying several brands I now rely on www.printerink.com. They have top brands of generic ink available at discount prices. They are just as good as the originals and at almost half the price. I find no difference in the print quality. Some brands come with a money-back guarantee so you can t lose anything by checking it out for yourself!
it costs more money because it has more ink in it I buy thembecause it means I have to change them less often so yes, worth it.
