How do I get my printer to print dark black? -

right now its printing in a really light grey. I don t know if it s the printer or the website. In other websites it s fine. I have an HP F2100

When you print something from a website and the print box comes up, click on preferences tab, and when it comes up click on color . Then click on print in grayscale and change the setting from High Quality to Black ink only, click apply at the bottom, then OK. It should print in black ink.

Sounds like your printing head is stop up. Take it out and get you some rubbing alcohol amp; a small bold or cup and pour just a little alcohol in it and put your printing head in standing it up to cover the holds in it let sit for about 10 mins. then take it out and blot it with a lint free rag do not rub. it should fix it. If that don t fix it you may be out of ink.

if you are printing a document from microsoft word then you have just to do is select the whole matter and then change its colour to black and then press ctrl+b. It will print in dark black. If the problem continues then you might not be using original ink cartridges.

When you click PRINT, then make sure that the QUALITY of the output is set to BEST or HIGH. You probably have your print output set to DRAFT.
