Can you print without a paper tray with Kodak easyshare printer dock series 3? -

I have a huge kit of paper and ink for my Kodak easy share and when I went to print out some pictures I could not find the paper tray. I have not used it in over a year. don t really want to have to buy a new paper tray because once I use up the paper and ink that I found I will continue to use my new camera. Please help.

i don t think so try it korkie

Sure you can. The only way any printer quot;knowsquot; there is a paper tray is by using sensors. If you look in the front of the printer where the paper goes, you ll see two small white buttons on the bottom left. Put a piece of tape over the right one to hold it down. Now you can manually feed paper. Report Abuse

not normally as the sensor will say out of paper

How long does color ink last in your printer before it goes b/w? -

My color ink is 3/4 full but went b/w. I have a HP 1341 printer. I change my b/w cartridge more than the other.

There is no set time for ink to last. Your printer uses ink every time you turn it on even if you do not print. Printers use ink to keep the printer running. See the links below. http://h10060.www1.hp.com/pageyield/arti… http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/view_… See page 11 of this one. http://www.startlingprinterfacts.co.uk/ Edit If your printer is printing in black instead of colour check that you have not set it to print either greyscales or to use the black cartridge only. Go into prefrences on the printer s menu and then maintance. See if there is a setting for the ink cartridge in there. If there is, unclick it if it says black ink only or greyscales. Other than that I have no idea unless you need to run a cleaning cycle as your printer heads could be blocked and so the colour ink can t come out. Your maintaince menu should have settings to do the cleaning cycle and your manual should explain it better. I have an HP printer but mine is not set up as I have my Canon one installed so I can t be more specifice as I need to go in to the menu to find the right links for you to press.

Can a macbook be hooked up to a Brother printer? -

I have a macbook and i ve got wireless internet on it and i was wondering if it could somehow be hooked up to my Brother printer?

Yes, and you should go to your system preferences to the printer icon and search for printers. If your printer is wireless, your mac will probably see it, just select the printer. If the printer is not wireless, plug it in before going to the system preferences. Your printer may have come with an install disc, but more often than not those are only needed on a pc. Your mac is designed to find hardware that you connect automatically.

Of course. It can be hooked up to any printer. The printer does not matter when it comes to Mac or Micrsoft.

yes it can go to apple.com thy have instruction there

Is it possible to hook a personal laserwriter LS up to a modern apple laptop? -

I have an old personal laser writer LS (1991) with one of the old round 8 pin plugs. My new apple laptop has all usb. Is it possible to use the printer with the laptop?

You can buy a USB to Serial adapter but why? The Mac is capable of fantastic printing but not with a printer that old. Printers are cheap, get a new one. I doubt you can get OS 10 drivers for the printer anyway.

My canon i550 printer wont print color. Anybody have the same problem and know how to fix it? -

I have only printed grayscale for about 6 months and wanted color yesterday. I was wondering if the nozzles can dry and clog.

Use alcohol and clean the tip of the cartrdige. Don t forget that inkjet can dry out even if you do not use it.. I had the same problem with mine. Replace the color cartridge or better still, bring it to Staples and ask a clerk to check it on one of their Canons. If the dude is nice enough, he will check it but I am sure it dried up or, it is defective. Good Luck

1. Go to Printers amp; faxes 2. Right click canon i550. 3. Choose Properties 4. Color managment 5. Automatic

How do I get a Dell Printer working with HP WebJet Admin? -

I am using HP WebJet Admin to administrate printers on our network. We have a Dell color printer that works correctly, but also a 5310n that gives a device communication error. Does anyone know what ports I need to open or services I need to enable to quit getting this error message?

. Have you checked Dell s support web site? Their # 1-888-236-3355 ; might charge you $2 a minute! Who knows? But they have a free email form. To chat with them, you need a service tag . Have you tried Deleting the 5310 s program completely, and then re-installing it? Maybe it s incompatable with the HP system or the Dell printer? Maybe disable or shutdown, temporarily, one system while trying the other by itself. There are a couple of web Forums discussing similar problems with HP Admin , but NO solutions. You ll have to email their IT guys at Dell and HP home pages/support.

How do I get my printer to stop telling me theres banner paper in it? -

When I try to print a document, it tells me that I have banner paper, which I don t. How do I reset it to normal printer paper?

Windows has set the default printing to banner. To do this, click Start menu in XP and go to Printer and Faxes. It will open a window with your printer installed. Select your printer and if default, (it will have a checked reversed in black background) just right click your printer and select quot;Propertiesquot;. A new window will appear. It will have tab like quot;General, Sharing, Ports, Advancedquot; and so on. In General tab, look for quot;Printing Preferences..quot; and click it. I m not sure what is your printer name but look for Page Setup gt; Page Size and just change your paper from quot;Bannerquot; to quot;Letterquot; or quot;A4quot; or any desire size. Then just click OK to apply the changes and exit Printing Preferences and click OK again to apply global to Windows. Then you can test the printout to see changes that has been made.

Have you checked your printer settings through the control panel? Go to your quot;printers and faxesquot; (or Printers and other hardware) in the control panel... find that printer, click on it once, on the left side you should see where you have options under quot;printer tasksquot; -- one of them should be quot;printing preferencesquot; click that. Once the window pops up, you should see a few tabs .. one of them being quot;PAPERquot;.. go there and make sure you have it set for LETTER or A4 (depending on where you are -- Letter is mostly US). Once it s on letter, click quot;applyquot; at the bottom of that window, then close it. It should work then. One way to double-check is: while your in the application that you creating the doc from (Word?), go to filegt;Printgt; When the print window pops up and you see your printer at the top, click the quot;PROPERTIESquot; BUTTON that s on the right. Once again, you ll see those tabs (general, paper, etc.) choose the PAPER tab and see if it isn t set to LETTER.... Hope this helped! Maggie B

Hatason s answer is the right one. It s actually pretty simple to do. Follow the steps he says, and you should be able to get it. :)

Delete the printer driver, restart computer, a new driver will be installed.

Hai, I understand your problem, I am sending a weblink which gives you correct guidence to set your paper to default settings. Follow the link given below: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00654323amp;cc=inamp;lc=enamp;dlc=enamp;product=1153494amp;dlc=enamp;lang=en

How do you get the del all in one to print again? -

The printer only works if it is unplugged for a few seconds and plugged back in. I unplugged the cord for a day and plugged it into the walll socket and it still won t work right. The green light is on and so is the bliking red light. Do you know how to fix it or a site to go to that will fix it free, There are sites I have visited that repair computer things.

Why dont you check the owner s manual. or contact Dell tech?

What is the best all in one printer for the price? -

I m looking to get rid of my Lexmark x75, I hate it. It s not all that bad, but the color cartridge seems to run out or dry out within a week. I don t do a lot of color printing, but I want it to be there when I do need it. I m looking for something reasonably inexpensive, as I m just using it for at home use, but I don t want a piece of garbage. I want something that prints decent quality, and has replacement ink for a decent price, or at least ink cartridges that last a little while. Thanks

Does anyone know of any transparent sheet I can print on? -

I want to do traditional animation literally no budget, so traditional quot;celsquot; are out of the question. I don t want to use Flash because I want to create a multiplane effect with pieces of glass. That s why I want the sheet to be transparent.

You can use viewgraph sheets (still sold in office supply stores), but not all printers nowadays can print on them.

Many companies make quot;inkjetquot; printable transparency sheets that are available at any office suply store(Staples,Office Depot and even Wal-Mart, Best Buy,etc.)

How cost competitive can I be printing signs with an Epson 9800? -

I m looking to find additional markets to get into. I already do art and photo printing for several people. I just feel that there has to be a larger market to go after to make the machine pay for its self.

You need some elbow grease to help the machine pay for itself. Get out and about in your town and community and find some opportunity! Good luck!!

Where is a good place to buy inkjet cartridges? -

I find places that only seem to knock a buck or two off, and that doesn t include shipping. Anyone? Thanks.

The junk brochure deliverers often deliver yellow envelopes with an add for a mail order inkjet supply that seems very cheap. Not used it. I just buy my epson stuff from Hot Dollar in the new part of Macarthr Square. I get them for $11/14 respectively compared to ~$40 at Office works.

http://www.printpal.com Visit the website. You can get name brand or remanufactured.

I ve been seeing ads. on TV lately about Walgreen s refilling cartridges for nearly half price. May be a regional thing, but if you have Walgreen s drug stores in your area you might save some bucks.

Do you know any machine that can do cutting and printing? -

I know there are plotter cutters and thermal printers or normal printers , but do you know of any unit that combines the two?

A printer and a scissors! :)

Try to visit http://www.hflaser.com, I hope it helps. Information, Services of Vinyl Cutters, Laser Engravers and Laser Cutters. Report Abuse

Not for domestic use. You re getting into professional printshop territory there, along with big bucks.

There s a machine called a Craft Robo by I beleive GraphTec that will cut printed material by finding the registration marks but doesn t print the image itself. It s a desktop model around $250-300. So you can use it for scrapbooking and the like. But nothing that I ve seen that will actually print and cut unless you get into serious big buck. If you want to spend the money Roland makes one the CammJet and the company listed above makes one. Rolands has been getting bad reviews, that I ve read about how vivid a print is but that s their inks and they will likely improve on that could also be the set up by the user if they didn t calibrate it right. Check out what GraphTec has come up with it ll likely be more afforadable and no bad reviews so far that I ve read.

CALL XEROX! 800-821-2797, ask to locate the nearest sales rep! :)

Where can I buy a power cord for a Dell 924 printer? -

My boyfriend bought his friend s computer and printer, but he didn t know where the power cord for the printer was. Can I buy one at Wal-Mart or maybe Radio Shack? I really don t want to buy one online.

Try Best BUY or yes Radio Shack. If they don t have it order one from Dell.

Check the power cord connection and go to your local computer store, tell them what printer you have they should be able to help you. Most printer power cables are a universal fitting and are interchangable.

Could a Samsung dealer that recycle print cartridges come to Jamaica? -

ML-610 laster cartridges are mounting up at my workplace. Sometimes they are thrown away, destruction to the environment. I am asking for the powers that be, to look into having a Samsung dealer who recycles empty print cartridges (laser black). HP has various places recycling or rebuilding their cartridges in Jamaica. Samsung however has none. I am asking again, please let us have a dealer in Jamaica that recycles print cartridges. Thank you.

I don t know... Is this a quiz?

Can i Print something from a desktop comp. if the printer is connected to a laptop if the laptop is on wifi? -

I need to print something from the desktop but the computer isnt connected to a printer. But My laptop is connected to the wifi network, which is also connected to printer via usb. Will i be able to print something if it is set up this way?

...You could send it from one PC to the other by email

Your desktop computer must be able to access the network, but that shouldn t be a problem. So i assume yes. Go to my computer, then control panel, then printers, then add a printer and set it up using the wizard

whatever computer the printer share it out right click the printer go to properties then click share and share it and go to the computer you want to print from and connect to that printer

both PC s must have the proper printer driver amp; they must be set up as shared file then I know both will print using a router but no sure about using a wiFi

When I print from the internet the font comes out very tiny? -

When I print a document from word or other programs they print fine. But when I print something from a web page the letters come out much smaller than they appear on my screen. I know how to adjust the text size by clicking on page at the top but that has no effect on how it s printing. It doesn t seem to be related to my printer settings because all other documents print fine. But when I try to print an email the text size prints very tiny. I m at a loss.

This issue occurs due to the Internet explorer 7.0 version in windows vista machine. This is common issue with windows Vista. I suggest you to try to print with another web browser.. like : Mozilla, Netscape etc.. I am sure it help yo to resolve the issue. However , I suggest you to copy and paste the file on desktop and then try print. or try with alternate universal printer driver .. ex: deskjet 990c or 550c driver.

I have one printer and 2 computers, can I share the printer without networking the computers? -

Is there any king of splitter or something that I can buy so that I don t have to be constantly switching usb cords on the printer?

What you need is an A/B switch for your printer. This will automatically switched to the computer that is sending the data to be print. Here s the link. http://www.pccables.com/30100.htm Here s the one for usb connectors. http://www.cwol.com/usb/usb-switch-2-por… Good luck.

Use a hub or a A/B switch.
