Anybody have software for a Dymo LabelWriter Turbo for Windows Professional XP? -

Have the printer but no software. Trying to make it work for a Youth Ctr.

The simplest way is to directly connect your laptop to the desired printer, using a USB/Centronics cable. You will need printer drivers before connecting, as some printer drivers recommend installing them before connecting the printer, otherwise complications can arise. If the printer is connected to a networked PC, and the PC is sharing the printer, you can connect to the PC sharing the printer and your system will automatically download the required drivers from the host PC.

How do I disallow access from a PC when networked? -

My house is networked. But family members could care less about f*ing up my printer, then telling me to fix it because it s MY problem. Plz don t give me advice about my family, I want to know about how to disallow a computer from having access when they NOW have their own printer anyway.

Go to printers and faxes in controll pannel and it should say on the lefthand side share click on that and untick share on network, or right click the printer go to properties and sellect the sharing tab and untick the box

The easiest thing is to put a password acess into it and then only if you enter the password do you have access. You can also go into their computers and remove the selection of your computer from the system. (a preference)

On your computer - disable File and Print Sharing Go to Control panel gt; Network Options gt; LAN Properties gt; and you will find File and Print share there.

If the printer is connected to your computer , then click on start , printers and faxes , right click on the printer u want to disallow , and go to sharing and disable it , this way the printer will no longer be available on network for printing

What do I do with my tri-color print cartridge that is out of yellow? -

Should I get another tri-color cartridge and then use the new one? But then what do I do with the old cartridge, which has half blue and half red ink?

How do I stop Lexmark 2600 printer form printing an alignment page every time is send a print job to it? -

The alignment page tab keep on popping out and the printer wont print my document

From what I ve seen in other answers and what the User s Manual notes (the link listed below is a PDF of the User s Manual and states what to do with the alignment page on page 14) you need to take the alignment page that printed out and quot;Place the printed page on the scanner glassquot; then press the scan button on the control panel. This will set the printer into the operational mode that you need in order to use it. Best of luck.

I suggest you un-install the software, reboot and then re-install it. That may help. Another thing to do is contact the Manufacturer on line for the drvers for that printer. I have a similiar problem that my printer software is so useless that every time I reboot or even use the printer, it come up asking me if I want to align. It is a good HP but an older one which has done more than it s share of work.

Go to the printer options from your computer then find the printing job list, maybe you can delete it from there

The typical printers used for home usually don t have Ethernet. I recommend you to get a Wireless printer and secure your router. Because, otherwise someone else could print their stuff by your printer. Good luck!!

You *could* get a printer with wifi capabilities, but you don t actually need to. You can just buy any printer and attach it to your router via Ethernet and print wirelessly.

Is there any other product besides sublimation ink to use with a heat press? -

I want to put photos on hard objects such as metal and tile. I know sublimation ink will work, but I was wondering if there is a chepaer alternative?

Unfortunately not, the only way to do it is with a good quality Dye-sub ink, with a good thermal transfer papers. You can get starter kits for a few hundred dollars including printer (excluding heat press)

I have a high end model that is still the latest line from epson, multifuntcion printers. its an RX610 Im after selling it and the box is to big for Australia Post and most couriers are to expensive because of its size so eBay is out of the question as i dont want pick up. Cash Convertors will ripp you off big time. Try going to any computer repair shop that buys and sells computer accessories and parts. They will give you more money for your printer. Just don t expect them to give you the full value of what the printer is worth.

I just recently bought a HP Photosmart C4200 All-in-One printer and I installed all the software but when it says to select device my printer doesn t come up as one of the choices a matter of fact there are no choices at all. I have a MacBook Pro laptop.

Macs come with the drivers so use those. Go to System Preferencesgt;Print amp; Fax and click the + button. After that, a Window will pop up and it will scan for the printer. When it finds it, click on the printer and select Add. Hope this helps.

Did you try just using the printer without fussing with the drivers? Make sure the printer is on and plugged in, then just open up Text Edit or something and try printing. See if your printer shows up as an available printer.

Why is my iBook printing out strange symbols? -

I have my iBook connected wirelessly to my hp printer, which is hooked up to my Dell. The printer knows when the iBook wants to print... but it never prints what I want it to. It spits out pages and pages of weird symbols (I ve only let 4 pages go at most, but I m assuming it will print infinitely). Why is this happening? If more information is needed please let me know.

What are you using the printer for? Cost per page - Black - about 4 cents per page Color - around 12 cents per page If you are using the printer in an office, look at the Officejet Pro L7000 series. Total cost per page is around 7 cents per page for black and color together. I would not look at the low end laser printers, cause the cost per page is around 12-15 cents.

The only way to empty an ink cartridge is to either print until it s empty or to use special equipment to quot;washquot; the cartridge. If you want to refill them, leave a little ink in them as it ll prevent the foam inside from drying out. If you re trying to sell the cartridges to refillers and they don t want them because they have ink in them, find a different refiller.
