How can i make poor quality printouts to save my cartridge? -

i am using hp 1505 printer. my friend has given me some documents to print which have a large amount of dark portions, he said that documents are not so importent but he just needed the printout. so i wanted to save my cartridge through very poor quality printouts but i dont know how to do it. please help.

go to startgt;control panelgt; printer and other hardwaregt; printer and faxgt; right on your printer go to printergt; printing preferencesgt; then change it to low quality, gray scale, black only, your choice.

Go to the advanced button or options button after you hit the print and select to print in a gray scale instead of high quality. Saves ink
