Would printing my own stickers using an average printer look good for stickers on a laptop? -

Ive been making my own designs of stickers for a laptop i want. I have sticker paper (bond and plastic {smooth i guess} texture) and a ink printer. Should i print these myself or in a printing store (if so, would you suggest what kind of store)

Sure they should look good if your printer accepts it. make sure you set the correct dimensions and let it dry.

I have done it myself with photos of work friends on a work folder. I get heaps of cool comments. So do it yourself.

Are you talking about address labels? You have to know how to line them up so each address lands on each precut label on a sheet. I think in a box of blank labels there is a template to practice with. You have to make sure you get indelible ink, cos if you are putting the labels on boxes that are handled a lot, the ink smears and smudges with sweaty fingers touching it. Once you have it perfected, you can put an ad in the local paper and do labels for small businesses at about $5 a sheet and get lots of repeat business. If you do start a business doing labels, so you don t have to get lots of stock in at first, do the smaller labels on the standard large address label and guillotine them, chopping off the white margins.

heck yeah cheap

go to a printing shop i don not know where you live so i cannot give you any shops to go to. Even so you may have to pay, but the end result will look better and you will be happier with it.

I would go with a print store like kinkos or office depot....they have better equipment for printing and your designs would come out looking more professional that if you printed them on an inkjet printer...
