You could connect the printer to a wireless router that has ports to do so. Not all routers have ports, but some do. Apple Airport and Airport Express are ones that do (a friend of mine uses his), but there are probably others that do it, too. You just plug the printer into the wireless router, and it becomes wireless.

If Windows does not recognise is you will need to visit the Support and Drivers page at www.hp.com However, judging by the model number it is quite old so Windows will have a driver for it built in. You have a choice with this printer of using a parallel cable (old fashioned printer cable going into the very wide multi pin socket on the pack of the PC) or a USB cable. Your choice.

Yes, it will work. When you get the cable, just turn it on and Windows will detect it and install the correct drivers. Most manufacturers don t include the cable with the printer. (If it doesn t, simply go to the HP website and download the drivers)

Yes, you can use them in an inkjet. Just understand that the printing can be subject to running when it gets wet, just like most anything from an inkjet.

Yes, you can physically use them, but they may not come out the way you want them to because of formatting differences between the printers. You may have to manually set the page parameters to get them to print correctly. Waste a sheet of paper and hold it up in front of the sheet of labels to test formatting before wasting a sheet of labels.

Remove the printer driver and then re-install again the driver, when driver becomes corrupt then this warning comes.

Whats the difference between PG-30/CL-31 and PG-40/CL-40 Canon ink cartridges? -

PG and CL are black (PG) and color (CL) codes and the set will either be for different printers or one will be high yield (more ink) versions of the same cartridges and the other standard. My Canon takes 37 and 38 standard and a 40 and 41 high yield. Only cartridges that are designed to work in a specific model printer will work. If another number cartridge is used the printer will not work. Edit No difference in ink quality as the ink is the same ink just more in them. I think its about 4ml extra for colour and about 5 ml for black. I seem to remember seeing something comparing sheets with high yield and standard and it saying something like 80 sheet extra out of the high yeild. Untill you buy the two to compare against your own usage you will not be any the wiser, but it looks roughly like a third extra ink.

The only problem there could be is the colours are not the same. Each printer manufactures makes each colour slightly different to another manufacturer using the same colour. If HP s inks are different colours then you may notice that your print outs are not the same using the Canon ink. Apart from that, it should be fine.

My printer uses HP 02 cartridges and it says a new one is half full. It is not one of the ones that you by in an economy pack that is deliberately half full either.

Ink level on the 02 is determined by the chip. Contrary to what they want you to believe, printers are not capable of accurately determining the amount of ink left or used up. They are just not that sophisticated, no matter how much you paid for it. The problem is most likely with the chip. It could be corrupted in some way, or perhaps the manufacturer installed the wrong chip on it, maybe the one for the smaller-sized starter black tank? But call customer service anyway. Now that you know how the ink level is determined, you might get a kick out of listening to the song and dance they give you. You might get a new cartridge out of them. I might call them myself, it would be fun to hear them touting the ink-level detecting capabilities of their PhotoSmart printers, and then trying to defend the integrity of their cartridge manufacturing, too.

You can go to www.hp.com and search for that printer model. You can download software drivers free.

You should be able to download the drivers off of HP s website. You may not get all the fancy extra programs, but you will get the drivers you need to make the thing actually print.

I ve been buying refills from dreamcaster00 on ebay for years. they sell top quality refills Cheap. They last just as long as the originals do . you should be able to get both the black and color (Combo pack) for less than $19.00 which includes shipping. Not all printers can print wireless, check the model number against the manufacturer site, or check in your manual to see if your printer is blue tooth enabled. If it is it may just be a matter of buying a blue tooth adapter from the manufacturer.

I don t know if they bluetooth printer adapters, probably do. Usually printing wireless is done by sharing out a local printer over a wireless router or or using a small print server device that you install on your network. I know linksys has one. Either way you would need some kind of wireless network, a bluetooth adapter compatible with your current printer or a new bluetooth printer.

You need to do some comparison shopping, figuring not only the cost of the printers themselves but also the cartridges for them. Also, look at the difference in laser printers in color-capable versus black and white only. Some of my friends use black-and-white-only laser printers for all documents for the crispness of the print, but keep inkjet printers for color work.

Delete the printer and re-install it with ENGLISH as the language. At the time the software for this printer was installed somebody failed to notice that the language selected was Spanish. Simple fix.
