You can get it at http://www.ebuylistings.com/?s=Dell+All-…
You can search for the cartridges for the best online deal at cheapinkcartridges.com. They compare pricing of various online shops.
Try a NEC equivalent, but I wouldn t go with any of the so called refillables because you won t get good printing.
try ebay
It looks as though your printer has been dropped by epson support, I would try calling them and see what they can do for you. Unfortunatly might be time to update even if the printer is working fine.
your printer will still be on your pc look in add and remove programs
You don t need to find the disk. Just download it from Epson s website. http://www.epson.com Are you sure it is the cx3600 and not the cx3800?
Do a full uninstall of the printer software and then visit Epson.co.uk and download the latest drivers. This normally only happens on PCs that originated in a different country (France) as it picks up local settings from Windows during installation. If you have an English version of XP then double check your regional setting.
HP 95 Tri-color Inkjet Print Cartridge 320 standard pages (with HP 92 Black Inkjet Print Cartridge) HP 95 Tri-color Inkjet Print Cartridge 310 standard pages (with HP 98 Black Inkjet Print Cartridge)
Ethernet lol, and most printers use the USB. are you sure your printer is compatible with macs? make sure of that, pop your installation disc into the mac and install. than plug the printer in. hardware detection shud just install it.
there should be a port on the back of the printer for an ethernet port and the other end would connect into a router or modem to connect to a network. if you re only trying to connect it to your mac then the usb should work fine. make sure you don t have too many usb devices connected to your mac because sometimes it takes too much power. (have had problem before) the usb cord that connects into the printer doesn t look like most usb ports. one side is different than the other. when you plug printer into usb and then connect to computer your mac should find it... so idk.. make sure you installed everything properly and is compatible. hope this helps.
Would be easier to help you if you included the MAKE and MODELof the printer, then we d KNOW if it has an ethernet port to connect to.
do you mean ethernet instead of earthnet by chance?
there should be a jack that u can connect internet(lan) on your computer, some printers have it to connect that to your internet and you can use it as a network printer
Use a wireless USB Hub Like this one: http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPa… Edit: there are cheaper one out there, the above is just an example.
Buy a wireless usb connector.
Well better could be cheaper. The ink cartridges for an inkjet are a lot cheaper than laser printers. Also laser printers are much more expensive. If you own a business where you can wright off the cost then get a laser but for home and small office an inkjet would be more cost effective. And their are color laser printers on the market also.
You can find laser printers for under $50 after rebate. THe problem is that they come with starter cartridges which hold less than half the normal toner, so they re good for less than 1,000 pages. The toner cartridges cost more than the printer, and often they can t be refilled properly. I tried refilling a Samsung 2010 and the prints came out too light. The same with a Brother 2040 until I learned that the starter cartridges are missing a $3 part. After I bought the starter gear, the refill worked. For about $6 in toner, I get about 2,000 pages, so the laser is faster, sharper and cheaper than an inkjet but only in black and white. For my Epson inkjets I buy compatible cartridges available here http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp
You can get good quality out of ink jet printers these days, so I would just go with one of those. Laser printers are much faster, but are also more expensive (especially the color ones), and use toner. Sounds like for what you are wanting to do, it is best just to get an ink jet. You can up the quality on the print out in the settings, if you find that normal is not good enough. Best of luck.
If printing black and white, laserjets are faster, and you don t have problems with ink smears. If you need color, inkjets give better color quality. Laserjet uses what s called toner, just like a copier does. bbowers http://beecherbowers.com
They need quot;tunerquot; but it s less expensive than cartridges. and tuner life is more
laser because it has a better quality.
Please follow exactly and IN ORDER. 1. Turn off the printer and wait 10 seconds. Turn it on again 2. Let the printer print the test page. 3. After the test page is printed, disconnect the USB cable connecting the printer to your computer. DO NOT turn off the printer while disconnecting the USB cable. 4. Place the test page on the scanner glass and press the SCAN button on the printer. The ON light will flash as the page is being scanned. 5. Remove the test page when the ON light is steady. 6. Finally, turn off the printer and wait another 10 seconds. Then turn it on again. No more printing test pages! Yay! (You may now reconnect the printer to your computer via the USB cable.)
Try completing the alignment process of your printer. Actually, the thing that you are experiencing is not printing a test page rather it is the alignment page. So, you have to place the scanner glass with face down and press scan button. In this way it won t ever print again the alignment page until of course you install a new cartridge.
I just looked at Staples.com and didn t see it. Look in your manual, there should be a number you can call or address you can write to. EDIT: Are you sure it is a Lexmark 3400? I just went to their website and did not see that printer listed.
Alright, I just bought the same exact printer you have. I talked to Lexmark customer service and the woman told me that a Lexmark 3400 Series is a Lexmark X3470 (the model number shows above your display) and it holds ink cartridge #1. You can get it at the store now, just make sure it s #1! ( : Report Abuse
www.ebay.com

Walmart has some or office depot
The Mfg does t know what lenghth you would want and most customers are in the replacement market and already have a cable from their last printer. It also keeps the cost down.
I asked HP this question once a few years ago (none of theirs come with cables). The answer I was given is that their research told them that (1) most people already have an existing printer, an existing cable with that printer, and thus getting another cable just adds clutter (2) not every user needs the same length of cable so it s difficult to judge just what type of cable to send Neither answer did I find particularly acceptable. And, like you, believe the very least they could do is include a cable. It s a pain in the caboose to have to go and purchase a cable but, unfortunately, that s HP.
Are you sure, it s not refurbished? I ve recently purchased a new canon PIXMA MP140 It did come with a USB cable, whereas my cousin bought the same printer, but had no USB cable. This has me puzzled as well. I think it might have do with the packaging and manufacturers.
You can get a wireless router that is compatible with printers. I think this solution is a bit more practical, you ll probably be able to get a cheaper printer too. I have this router, it works great, I haven t tried the particular feature though. http://www.usr.com/products/networking/w…
It probably won t work, however if it does it won t hurt the printer.
Set the alignment with the help of it in the Control panelr page of the printer, so as to set ti right...And after that it should stop..Else contact on-line tech support for help as to how to proceed in fixin it.... Its due to printer settings/minor problem only... Do rate if it helped
Try : 1. disconnect the computer from the printer 2. power on the printer 3. Insert new cartridge. let the printer do its things, then turn off 4. cold boot the computer, then turn on the printer 4. If your driver is cetain version, sometime it will ask you to do certan things, just follow the instructions Hope this helps
The page you are seeing is probably the alignment page - it appears every time you change the cartridge. Align the cartridges as indicated by the instructions. If that is not the answer - perhaps the contacts are dirty - instructions for cleaning are found here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/gener…
see if you cannot reset the settings of the printer back to defaults if not uninstall the printer and reinstall Hp is good as they have autoinstalls on their website
Never have had clogging problems with inkjets unless you used substandard refill ink and/or left the printer for a long time without using it. However, as others have said, Lasers don t have printheads, nor do they use ink. Thus, they cannot clog. Lasers are relatively maintainence free... Just clean the air filter / ozone filter if they have one, and clean the inside of paper dust with a blower, and that s about it. If they have separate drum vs. toner then you ll need to clean them separately, but most lasers have them as a single unit. So it s pretty much replace the whole thing when done (i.e. when printouts are faint).
Laser Jets usually use powders. The image is burned into place. They are very expensive for cartridge replacement and therefore more expensive to service. Periodically the developer and transfer kit has to be replaced also expensive. But if expense is not an issue for you, go for it. Some cartridge are 200 or more, ours @ work are 375 each. I own a HP that is more than 6 years old and has never had a clog. Usually the only problem is the cartridge may fail if it is re-manufactured. I want another printer but my 2 HPs won t die the other is about 10 My Epsons always clogged or dried out and had to replace the printer because the head was in the printer 4 times, thats when I made the switch. HP puts their head in the cartridge so it is replaced each time you replace the ink.
No. Laser printers don t get clogged - they kick the living crap out of inkjet/bubblejet printers, although to get a full color one will run you some bucks (and the ink isn t cheap either). I keep a scanner/inkjet for printing color, and I ve got an old HP Laserjet 5 that is a black/white workhorse from hell. It will print thousands and thousands of pages from one toner cartridge (which are bit pricy, but unless you print two tons of stuff every day, you will almost never have to do it). Good luck!
not in a laser..lasers cost more initialy but they print WAY more than an inkjet...inkjets are cheap..but the cartridges run out quickly. So if you do a lot of printing the lazer is for you! There hast be a problem if your inkjet clogs up all the time...wrong ink...not enough use? ..hot room the printer is in?..somthing?
Lasers don t have print heads, so they can t get clogged. There is a drum that has to be replaced every 100,000 prints or so because it wears out though. Overall they re less maitenence and cheaper to print, but they re much less versatile.
Laser do not use printheads. (InkJets are just money pits) They use DRUMS amp; Toner but they LAST a lot longer. Plus Lasers are cheaper in the long run. You can probaly pickup a used Laser print on Craigslist. Good Luck.
check the manufacturers website or run an internet search on the company name, and printer model a good majority of makers keep their software online to download, you shouldn t need to find your CD.. although, if it s older, you might need to place an order for a replacement CD through the website if you can include this information, myself or someone else might be able to pinpoint something down for you as well.
in most instances, cd installers are included in the package. insert the cd installer into your cd-rom and read the instructions. follow the installation guide then start printing.
download free from a website
Your cartridge needs to have the top popped in order to refill. HOWEVER, make sure the cartridge has not been run empty, or it will not respond to refilling. Also if you have removed the cartridge and it is just sitting on your desk, then it will not respond either. The printhead needs to be kept damp, or protected. The last thing you need to know is that you MUST have lexmark 10n0026 ink. If you bought one of the universal kits, you may be stuck with ink that is too thin and will leak, or ink that is too thick and will clog. Once you determine that all is OK, simply use a knife to pry off the top of the cartridge, and if you cannot tell which color goes where, use a tooth pick to determine which color is where. these are small cartridges and will not require much ink, so fill very slowly. Watch the printhead and the top of the cartridge at the same time. At the first sign of ink coming from the print head - STOP and pull back a bit on the needle (a very little bit). You should also watch the top of the cartridge, as to avoid having the ink pour out of the top. Repeat for all colors. Hope this helps. If you have to remove the cartridge prior to refilling, then you should place it in a zipper bag along with a slightly damp paper towel, until you can get to it. It must remain moist, but not wet, and do not store in the freezer.
Read the directions on the ink kit and you can go to www.lexmark.com and look up your printer or maybe see if there is a phone number you can call. every pinter is differant.
You have to carefully pry open the cardridge to see where the different colors go, each type cardridge seems to be different. Patience is the key word here! After you know where the colors go you can dril the hole.
I have always refilled my printer ink cartridge (the black one anyway). I took the lid off the first one, so that I could see how the inside was arranged. Then, on the next one I drilled a tiny hole in the proper spot and squeezed the ink into the sponge within the ink chamber. (Not too much, mind you). I have only overfilled one cartridge and been forced to replace it since I began refilling black ink. Take your time. Be methodical. I think it s worth the time and the effort. Just because Western Civilization is throw-away doesn t mean you must be.
It is very messy, a hassle, aggrevating, and just not worth it..... Try buying discount cartridges...... Google it and indtead of paying $25.00, you end up paying like $7.00 to $12.00 per cartridge...
I understand that Staples refills cartridges as I m sure some other office supply stores probably do. Try searching in your area for available places that do it. Refilling can be a very messy process and buying the supplies isn t always the cheaper way to go. Here is a supplier that sells 2nd source manufactured cartridges. I ve had excellent luck with them over the years and their cartridges work very well in my new Epson R380 photo printer. http://imarketcity.com Hope this helps.
I made a terriable mess when I tried. I wouldn t recommend it.
most printer manufactures now I have computer chips in their ink cartriges, these chips store whether or not the cartrige is used up, so regardless of whether or not you ve injected ink into the cartridge the printer won t use it. Some of the new kits come with something that suposedly resets these chips, I don t know if it actually works though.
I would get new ones
