Can anyone teach me what should i do with my hp840C printer? -

It s been working properly before. When the ink cartridge went empty and i replaced it w/ a new one....I tried to print a document,but it keeps on printing its test print page. Is my printer broken or is it just because of the printer settings? How can i fix it?

Set the alignment with the help of it in the Control panelr page of the printer, so as to set ti right...And after that it should stop..Else contact on-line tech support for help as to how to proceed in fixin it.... Its due to printer settings/minor problem only... Do rate if it helped

Try : 1. disconnect the computer from the printer 2. power on the printer 3. Insert new cartridge. let the printer do its things, then turn off 4. cold boot the computer, then turn on the printer 4. If your driver is cetain version, sometime it will ask you to do certan things, just follow the instructions Hope this helps

The page you are seeing is probably the alignment page - it appears every time you change the cartridge. Align the cartridges as indicated by the instructions. see if you cannot reset the settings of the printer back to defaults if not uninstall the printer and reinstall Hp is good as they have autoinstalls on their website
