What happens if you use the wrong ink cartridge for a printer.? -

I have an HP Officejet printer that allows 22 tricolor ink cartridge and 27, 56, and 58 black ink cartridges. I have the 21 black ink cartridge. Will I still be able to use it or will it be discolored, etc., etc.

It probably won t work, however if it does it won t hurt the printer.
