How do you solve a printing problem for a Lexmark 4 in one printer? -

My Lexmark three in one printer will only feed one sheet of paper at a time How can I solve this problem

Could be the quality of the paper, too thick, too thin, too shiny, or could be possibly you have a piece of paper jammed in it somewhere, although normally you would get a message up. Have you had any paper jams where you cleared it and the printer started working again, or have you always had the problem. Are your paper feeders pressed right up against the paper? It s really a question of eliminating possibles. As it s printing its nothing to do with not receiving the right messages but its just a sheet feeder problem.

You said it was a 4 in one printer in your title and a 3 in one printer in the text. This is important because you need to know what floor the window needs ot be when you throw the printer out of. Seriously, it can be three things. Some printers have a paper thickness adjustment lever often near the feed tray that needs adjusting. Poor quality paper or the paper path rollers need cleaning. Do not use the cheapest paper you can get. It is often thinner, lighter, tends to tear, and often has paper dust that gums up the sensors and paper pathway. . Also, the acid made in producing that paper eats away at the ink and it will deteriorate over the years. Instead get a paper made for printers, not copiers or some other purpose. Get at least a 16 lb weight, a 20 lb weight is great if you want to impress someone. The brightness number is often an indication of quality, get 90 or above. As far as the pathway, try to vacuum it if it is dusty. Then with the power off, take a cloth with some alcohol and clean the rollers in the pathway.
