Can you install Half life 2 on more than one computer? -

My brother got a game for the computer. But the computer he installed it on broke down so he got another computer and when he tried to install it, it wouldn t let him. Are you only allowed to install it on one computer or did he do something wrong? Can you plz help me because if he did do something wrong than i would be able to help him get it on his computer so he stops irritating me. Thanks.

Any steam games, such as half life 2, can only be installed on one Steam account. however, if he logs into his steam account on the other computer, he can install half life 2 on it. The brilliant thing about steam is that you can access your account from anywhere and download your own games on any computer. of course, he can just install it onto his account with the disc.
