Does anyone know about how to hook a printer to a computer? -

I have a hp printer that I want to hook up to my dell computer. My old hp computer was stolen and so now I hooked up my dell computer because I had two computers. I don t have the disk to that the computer came with. So who do I call to hook up the printer?
