What is the best way to print on CD? Inkjet or Thermal? -
Thermal is going to give you the fastest and most inexpensive results, however it may be tough to get labels or CD s that can do a thermal print. Thermal paper is much different than regular paper and often not readily available. If you can get a consistant source of supplies, then defiantly go thermal. The only advantage to ink jet is that supplies are easy to come by. However it is the most time consuming and expensive way to print.
You can print on standard shiny silver cd-rs with a thermal printer, shiny silver discs are cheaper in price than inkjet printable. If you are looking to print hundreds of discs, take a look at the Microboards PF2 or the Primera Bravo II. Report Abuse
get an epson r220 ink tanks are cheap from ukdvd i did and had no problems at all
Thermal would be the best way. With Ink jet your ink smudges more and if a liquid spills on the cover the ink would probably be blurred. The best way of all is print screening, try asking a professional printer in your area!
Go thermal.
