Is it possible to recondition your OWN printer cartridges? -

I realize it s possible to RECYCLE these, but I m looking for information on the possibility or even feasibility of reconditioning them myself. I m looking for answers from those who have knowledge and experience in computers and printers.

There are kits available to refill ink cartridges. They will probably void your printer warranty and they tend to be messy. That said, they re cheap, so if you don t mind the issues go straight ahead.

Yes, it s possible. But, if you own a cheap printer, you might get to the point where the printer doesn t print smoothly. ~:)~

look on ebay. there are tons of deals for printer ink refill sets for really cheap. but be careful, not all this ink is suitable for every printer model. so called quot;all purpose inkquot; is bad, it should match your printers needs. and as a general rule, don t buy from a seller with less than 99% positive feedback.

Sure is, but if you don t do it right you can really mess up the cartridge AND your printer. Some ink refills contain inferior inks that will totally wreck your printer. I d suggest you spend the extra $$ and buy new.
