Can i install a printer on to my printer lexmark x1270 as i have installed it says its installed? -

when i try to print someting i either get a error message or saying that a printer is not installed but it is ?

Hi Sexy Lexmark are terrible for that. Follow this procedure. Un-install all the drivers. Now, remove the USB cable from the printer and power on the printer. Now install your software and let the software tell you that you need to connect the cable to it. Do it and the installation will complete itself. Reboot and windows will find the printer and it should work fine.

Hi, Goto the start, printers and faxes and see if it is ticked as the default printer. If not then right click and set as default. Hopefully that will cure it. Arnak

That s what you get for buying Lexmark! Seriously, Lexmark are terrible - and good luck when you want to uninstall it!
