Is there a way to install a Lexmark printer without the installation cd? -

I usually don t use this printer but the other one broke. I can not seem to find the installation cd and I was wondering if it is necessary to have it. Or if there is a way around using it?

Yes, go to http://lexmark.com and click on downloads, search by printer model, download the driver, install it and you re golden.

You should be able to go to their website, enter your model number, and download the proper drivers/software.

usually you can go to their website and download just the drivers for that printer. i always try to do this because driver disks have other garbage that gets loaded (apps).

All you have to do is go to support.lexmark.com, look under Drivers amp; Downloads, and click on Driver Finder. Select your printer model and select your operating system (Windows/Mac) and then download the driver and software.
