How can you hook up a computer running XP to a printer that is on windows vista? -

my labtop keeps saying that windows can t find the printer or the printer name is typed incorrectly. So wat do I do now?

Printer sharing needs to be turned on (Network and Sharing on the Vista system) and (Firewall advanced settings printer sharing check boxed in the XP system) and you both need to be in the same workgroup. That should do it...
