How do i install a printer to my computer without a installation CD? -

My family has 3 printers and the one we where using broke down so we tried to hook up another. We couldn t tho because we lost the installation CD s. So i was wondering is there any way I can do it without the Cd. The printer is a Lexmark515

search for lexmark515 driver online and download it. easiest way without CD.

Nearly all printer manufacturers put software for their printers at their web sites. Go to www.lexmark.com and look for quot;downloadsquot; or quot;supportquot; or something similar. You can download the driver to your computer and then install the printer. Instructions should be included in the download or at the web site.

If its USB 2.0 then it is most likely plug and play. Just plug it in and it will work. If it isnt USB 2.0 then google the model number and download the drivers. edit-i looked for the drivers but there is no lexmark 515 there is the z515 if thats what you ment go here http://downloads.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/do…
