How can I make old printer work on Vista laptop? -

My old laptop (windows Acer) is the only way I can print. I no longer have the disc for my Lemark X1150. Is there a way I can install it on my Toshbia Windows Vista? Thanks.

I did some digging on the lexmark site and came up with this url, you should be able to get the driver for it there. http://www.lexmark.com/lexmark/sequentia…

Here s the link to the drivers you need. Just choose the version of vista you have ie 32bit or 64bit, download and install. http://downloads.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/do…

here s the vista version http://downloads.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/do… i have lexmark X8350 and it works fine with vista. good luck

Hello, assuming that you have a internet connection download the drivers from: http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/PRINTER/LEXMARK/LEXMARK-Printer-X1150-Version-2022.shtml or any other driver site. You can try to search them on Lexmark official site as well. Burn them to a disc or a floppy disk(depends on the size of the drivers) then install them under your Vista. If Vista will not recognize them try to install the printer from Control Panel -gt; Printers -gt; Add new Printer. Vista has a lot of problems regarding the old drivers so you will have 50 - 50 chance to work or not. Hope this helps.
