How do I print a pdf file double sided from a Windows Vista computer? -

I m having so much trouble with this, and I m really frustrated. I ve gone into all the property settings looking for a button to click so I can print this document double-sided and save the earth and trees, but I can t bloody find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Windows Vista and the PDF file have nothing to do with you printing a document. It s your printer settings. Are you sure your printer supports double sided printing? If it doesn t, just have it print one page at a time and when the page prints out, put it back in the paper tray so it prints again on the other side. Click on the File menu, then click on Print... Make sure the printer you want to print to is in the quot;Name:quot; field. Click on the Properties button. Search for some setting that says something like quot;Duplexquot; or quot;Double Sidedquot;. After you find it, click OK on all the windows and print. Every printer is different and gives you a different menu after you click the Properties button, so I can t help you further. Maybe if you gave us a model or something, we could help more. Then again, everyone has to learn how to get around a computer at some point.

Either print all the odd number pages first and then put the paper back in and set the printer to print the odd page numbers on the back or set the printer to print two pages on one side of same sheet. For the first opinion go in to preference and then select the page range to all odd numbers and watch which way around the page comes out. My Canon comes out top first but I have had other printers that the bottom comes out first, and then reset the printer s page range for all the even numbers on the back. For the two pages on one option I have to go in to preference then select page set up then in the page layout section select page layout printing. Then select how many pages per sheet you want. I have a canon printer so yours may differ in how it s worded things but most printers have similar functions.

There are two places to adjust properties. One is the Print window of Adobe Reader, the other is your printer s properties. We probably have different printers, but my printer (cheap desktop laser printer) has a tab under Properties/Advanced that lets you print every even page and then every odd page. You print all of one side, then put the paper back through the printer backwards. Of course you could always take the PDF on a disk to a place where they have a double-sided printer. Might be one at work. Or Kinkos or some place like that.

Printing double-sided is set by the printer when you choose print. It doesn t matter what format the document is in. Good luck
