I tried a self install internet kit from my provider and it says digital signature cannot be located.? -

It cannot locate the quot;digital signaturequot; for the modem. Did i get a quot;bad/unapprovedquot; modem? It says i can continue with installation but if i do it without that signature then my computer will most likely crash eventually. What does this mean and what do i do?

quot;digital signaturequot; means that the modem has not been tested when the operating system came out. As per your manual click quot;okquot; and it will install successfully. Alternatively read the manual.
