How to fix paper sticking together when printing? -

Whenever I print something I always end up having to take like 10 min to take out a paper jam and redo my whole printing job. Does anyone have a solution to avoiding printer paper to stick together, because it s driving me insane and wasting my time.

I used to run huge print jobs when I worked at GM. Usually printing thousands of pages on multiple printers. The 2 things I can tell you to reduce the number of jams you get is: (1) Keep your printer clean! Use compressed air to blow the dust out. Insert the nozzle of the can into the tray where the printed page comes out, and spray inward, blowing the dust out the top. If you aim into the machine, your just blowing the dust deeper into the printer. Don t do this to laser printers! You can damage the thermal bar. (2) Fan your paper. Before loading the paper into the tray, holding the paper in one hand, take your thumb across the stack, fanning out the pages. Insert the paper so the fanned end of the stack is facing towards the printer. I hope this helps you out.

Did you fan the paper before you put it in ? or the rubber pick up rollers need cleaning, E mail me I will explain to you how this can be repaired, hope this helped and good luck.

Fan the paper but taking it out and flipping the sheets.. Could be a build up of static. Or The rollers on the printer are gone bad. You can take some slicone spray (clear one) you find this at a auto supply store. Just spray a little on a lint free rag. and rub the roller. Suppose to use roller spray but that s how to find in a local store. That needs to be ordered online. You would need to replace the rollers as that is just a temp soluation.

use some clear isopropyl alcohol from the drug store and a soft cotton cloth to clean your paper rollers. Also it could be a paper problem. Paper absorbs moisture from the air which causes sticking together. take about 20 sheets of paper, lay it flat in the micro wave and cook on high for about 20 seconds. remove and then lay it flat on the counter top to cool. Do not use it for longer as you can start a fire. after paper cools, you can quot;flipquot; the edges like shuffling a card deck. Then try it again. If that don t fix it, you need to get the printer repaired by a service professional, or get a new printer which ever is less expensive.

make sure the paper guides sit firm against the paper sides in the feeder tray. if the guide is a liitle to wide you get trouble
