Why does the magenta not work in my new cartridge? -

I had this cartridge refilled about a month ago and it worked fine. I don t print with color much so it has barely been used since. Now, everything works except the magenta. I have tried cleaning the nozzels and get nothing. How can I get it to work?

Magenta ink is the densest (next to black) and therefore clogs the fastest. Your cartridge may have been refilled with a sub par ink, in that case you may not be able to free the clog. There is a fix to the issue if you have an HP, Lexmark or Dell printer you can soak the print head in blue Windex for about 10 minutes and then run a number of print head cleanings. For any other brand of printer do not attempt this.

The magenta is either empty, unless you can see it, or the unauthorized refilled ink clogged the nozzle.

the ink may have dried, or blocked the nozzle. run a through cleaning and test pages to see if magenta prints on the test page. you have to be careful using refilled inks, they are not as good as the originals.
