How do i print a picture on 4 pages? -

I m trying to print a picture of a world map but one paper is not big enough. How do I go about printing different sections of it onto separate pages and taping them together?

Print a poster facility of your printer. When you select to print you should go into preferences and then select page set up. Then there should be a menu of print options like, normal printing, brochures etc, go down it until you get to, print a poster, click on that and then click on specifics underneath. Then click on print 2x2 which will then give you 4 sheets of A4 and you glue them together.

Pour a tiny bit of water on the ink (not enough to damage the document!!). If it runs, it s an inkjet, if it stays, it s laserjet.

Lasers deposit tiny granules of toner then melt it into the paper. The edges of characters will be rough and through a microscope you can see the granules. Injets spray ink on the paper and it soaks in.

Use a magnifying glass to look at the ink. Inkjet will look more dotted, and laser printer will be smooth and shiny

I have a HP Deskjet D1420 and I have refilled the cartridges (HP 22 and HP 22). The printer continues to read them as low or empty and will not print properly. Does anyone have a hack to reset the printer or printer cartridges to either read full or not read at all.

If you want to trash your printer, refill your printer cartridges. I have repair printers with refills cartridges, they just leak ink all over the place. Plug up your print head and sometimes you get ink smears because the ink does no dry right. In other words, you do not save any money because you ruin your printer. Other cheap solution is to purchase out date cartridges, they still work just fine for me. On some printer cartridges have IC which needs reset by special machine when you refill your cartridges.

There are places that you can take them to get refiled, or you will just have to purchase new cartridges for your printer. If you have a Walgreens Drug store in your part of the country they do cartridge refills.

just remove and then replace. it should reset itself.

Refill the cartridge by squirting some pee into it.

smash it with a golf club. I recommend a 6 iron, but a 7 iron might do the trick as well.

I want to make digital scrapbook pages that can be both printed and used as a slideshow on a CD or DVD. Is 300 a good DPI for this? Will I have to create each page with different DPI depending on what I want to do?

If you want very good quality, use 600 dpi. More expensive on the ink but the text is very crisp. Don;t forget that at 300 dpi, if the slideshow blows up your prints, they will be fuzzy. Just a hint. On text, 300 dpi is more than adequate but on photos, its a different ball game.

To display digital scrapbooking on display monitor, 70 DPI is enough, but if you want to print it out, 300 DPI or higher is recommended. Hope it helps

got to HP web site and down load the drivers for the f4180 on to your laptop. then connect the cable between them and you are printing. If you are talking about networking via an internet connection. then you don t have to have the drivers they will be on the comp that is hooked to the printer. you just need to network the two comp. thru the internet. you will need the ip address of the comp or the printer and any passwords protecting the device on the other end and have the devices on the other end turned on. then go to connection on the control panel and follow the directs to set up new network. good luck.

Self-service copy is the cheapest. :) About 7 cents a page. Inkjets cost about 10-12 cents are page, even black and white. Judging that most inkjet printers do about 4 pages a minute, 4000 pages... Eeek. Not to mention loading and unloading all that paper as most inkjets at most loads maybe 200 sheets. I wouldn t even THINK about doing it myself.
