How can I connect my printer to my laptop? -

I mean get it running from my new laptop from cyberschool without having to wait for a tech person to call me on Monday. I have an Hp laptop and an Hp Deskjet f4180.

got to HP web site and down load the drivers for the f4180 on to your laptop. then connect the cable between them and you are printing. If you are talking about networking via an internet connection. then you don t have to have the drivers they will be on the comp that is hooked to the printer. you just need to network the two comp. thru the internet. you will need the ip address of the comp or the printer and any passwords protecting the device on the other end and have the devices on the other end turned on. then go to connection on the control panel and follow the directs to set up new network. good luck.

go to the hp website and look up the manual. try just plugging it from the printer to the wall and printer to laptop through the USB cord, then install CD if you have it and there you go. should work

Just connect it - and run the install disk. You can also put it on a desktop and connect to it on the network.

Just plug it in the place with a printer symbol or the word Printer.

Hey well basically u just connect a USB cable from ur printer 2 ur lab top its that easy hope i helped!
