1) Load printer with paper. 2) There will be light flashing on printer, press adjacent button
press the resume button, this is the other button located near the power button of your printer...
Of course they can, im a printer engineer, if you go to start menu on the PC and then settings and printers for the 2000 OS Pc s and start menu and printers and faxes on the XP Pc s from there you will see the print queues from the printers installed on the PC, if you right click on the printer and go to properties, inside properties you will see a tab called sharing, tick the relevant box and give the printer a share name. then go to your own PC and again start settings and printers only this time go to add printer and select nect and then select the option a network printer or a printer install on another PC, this will bring up the box from where you can search for the printers name which you applied. and hey presto the printer is installed, Hope this helped :)
Yes, as long as they are connected in one network/hub/router, you just need their IP addresses, and all of the printers are shared
Honestly from what you re describing, you d be far better off with a color laser printer. They re most certainly more expensive than inkjets but the difference in quality for business purposes is almost immeasurable. You can get a pretty decent HP Color LaserJet for around $250-$300 on sale. Also, check Newegg.com. they have the lowest prices on just about every type computer component you d ever want. Shipping will probably tear you a new one, pardon the expression, but you never know, Newegg also runs free shipping specials on select components and you absolutely cannot beat their customer service. (No, I m not a Newegg employee! We just buy from them all the time) Good luck J
I am an amatuer photographer and I have been using an HP Deskjet 6988 with photo paper and photo ink with fantastic results. The printer itself is not too expensive, though the paper and ink can add up. The quality, though is enough that I feel safe to recommend the 6988.
A color laser will print sharper text fast than an inkjet and does a pretty good job with photos. An inkjet will print photos more clearly but is slower, not as sharp with text and is more expensive per page. So what you should get depends on your volume and how high the quality of photos. You can get a Samsung CLP-316 color laser for about $150. Newegg and Staples both had a rebate for it. It does a nice job. If you want faster speed and higher capacity, I have a Ricoh CL1000N which is rated at 30 pages per minute and the cartridges for 6500 pages (color) and 10000 pages (black). I ve had it over a year and its a real workhorse. I paid under $300. Inkjet: As someone who was in the computer hardware business for years (though I rarely sold printers since I couldn t compete with the crazy rebates) I have always recommended Epson. The print quality is excellent, even on plain paper. I have photos I printed on a 640 about ten years ago hanging in my office which still look good, though not as good as the ones from the CX8400 on glossy paper. The warranty is excellent. For a year, Epson will express-ship a replacement and pick up the old one. I had one customer who needed this. He called one afternoon and had the replacement two days later. Another client bought a Canon. It needed two repairs within a few months. Each time it was taken to the repair center, then picked up a few days later. This client runs a specialty printing business and this really hurt. They have since bought an Epson CX5000 and have had no down time since. All name brand ink is expensive, but you can get cheap new replacement cartridges for Epson (not refills which I never recommend) for under $5 at http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp I have been using these for years. The CX8400 scanner/copier/printer was on sale at circuitcity.com for $60 with free shipping. It uses 3 colors plus black. The RX595 scanner/copier/printer also prints on DVDs. It uses 5 colors plus black and has even higher photo quality. It s on sale for $80 after $55 instant rebate. http://www.cheapstingybargains.com/54342…
Hi marge77, Unless you post the name and model number of your printer it is hard to help you. If it is occurring on a certain program post that too because most programs have a quot;page setupquot; that can be adjusted. Norm
A copier usually uses toner, not ink. It s generally cheaper because of it s lower quality. The problem would be if your quot;copy machinequot; is your all in one desktop inkjet, which would use the same amount of ink regardless. In the long run, copying has been cheaper in my experience for text.
It depends on the quality. For my printer/copier I have it set to print on low quality because that uses less ink. I think the copier is set at medium so it would use more ink But you could set it to lower quality). So just tell your printer to use less ink and print it again.
No. You could just give it to them on disc if you want to conserve ink.
HP only encloses return envelopes on cartridges which have aftermarket value. Currently the 74 and 75 have no aftermarket value and haven t for a couple months.
epson inkjet printers will consume more ink to print
Any printer that uses ink jet is a rip off. A few years back, someone in a computer magazine once calculated the cost of ink jet consumables to fill the average gas tank; 13 gallons would cost about $345,000.00. The industry has always existed on the razor and blade business model, that is, they give you the razor for free but you ll have to constantly buy their expensive blades. Another example of this is the diabetic glucose monitors. You get the machine dirt cheap but have to pay through the nose when buying the reagent strips. Hence, ink jet printers (all of them) are obtainable via almost give away prices. That is, they WANT you to have them, meaning you re forced to use their ink supplies. Best bargain? Buy any laser printer. Its a much better value overall even if you wind up paying more upfront initial cost. The cost of ownership is less over time, and the print is much sharper too. Ralph
Although some might be worse all ink jet printers seem to be heavy on ink. All printers should have an adjusting procedure by which the intensity can be lowed resulting in less use. In an attempt to sell more the manufacturers may reduce the ink in a cartridge.
Staples and Office Depot accept used ink cartridges. For other options: http://www.castleink.com/_a-recycle-ink-…
If you don t have a wireless network your printer will not print wirelessly. You either need to invest in a print server or just connect to the printer to the computer you wish to print from.
No, empty brother cartridges have no value. Some places do recycle them, however there is no financial reward.
Most schools are always looking for used up ink cartridges and old cell phones so they can recycle them and get funding, try that it could make a big difference
I d start by looking at their web site or ask at the place where you bought it
Take it to staples.
contact hp tech support. bcoz it could be issue with the printer...
your running low on colored ink!
sounds like you need some new ink cartridges. you also might try cleaning the cartridge openings first. sometimes when i m low on ink cleaning em up helps make em last longer.
check the ink level in the others. sound like you only got magenta left. in our printer we have separate cartridges for each colour and the blue and yellow always follow each other and run out quicker
Replace cartridges
Because your colour cartridge has either run out of Yellow/Blue or those colour jets are blocked, only solution is another cartridge but you could try running the printer s cleaning cycle first.
I to have a HP Photosmart printer(C4180) and it sounds like you re colour ink is running low cause that s what my printer does. Check the levels in the quot;Software Centrequot;,to make sure, and buy a replacement. I find Argos have the cartridges cheaper than most high street stores!
Colour printer cartidges are made up of three colours, magenta, blue and yellow. They work by mixing or overprinting in these three colours. It sounds like the blue and yellow part of the cartridge is either empty or blocked (probably empty). Either buy a new one or (the more environmentally friendly and cheaper option), get it refilled.
Your printer rubber quot;drumquot; is damaged. It leaves a gap when printing. Replace! t4ke c4re
in 20+ years of printer reapir i have never heard of a quot; rubber drumquot; lol....... if you have tried a new toner and still have problems chances are you have a torn fixing film *** y.... call the local hp repair shop and ask for the reapir cost to replace a fixing film and they will let you know. if you live close to me in indiana i can fix it for you cheaper than most places ......................
That means fuser unit is bad (film broken) replace that fuser unit.
Rather than print the scanned pictures, there has to be an option to quot;save asquot; The default directory could be my pictures, but might not be. In that menu box to quot;save isquot;, you can find out what folder it is so you can easily find them later.
theres always a hp image ..?where you can find your scan pictures
they scan to my documents my pictures by default

hi . i gives you 3 solution s and you test it. 1. clean your paper path 2. check your laser scanner and clean that ( that is on front of your printer . that is a little hard to open ) . 3 . replace your drum roller on cartridge or your cartridge step s to remove laser scanner Laser/scanner assembly 1 Remove the following assemblies. ● Right-side cover. . ● Left-side cover. . ● Top-cover assembly. See Rear panel and top-cover . ● Front-cover. ● Engine control unit assembly.
You can t simply refill a toner, the fact that yo have done it twice is impressive. The green electrostatic roller on your toner cartridge is shot. You do need to replace the toner.
Yes. The drivers are available for download at HP.com and look to be compatible with several versions of Windows, Mac and even Linux.
you got a messed up printer
Try calibrating/alining and cleaning the printer cartridges.
What software are you using? And colour mode? Sometimes printing from RGB can give odd colour tints. Or clean the print heads etc
Kieran got it right. : clean your print head But you didn t say what kindof printer you had so I cannot tell you exactly how to remove the print head. In my Canon, I merely take out all the 6 cartridges, then lift out the print head and clean each circle with a twin tip dipped in alcohol, one for each colour. Then I replace the head, replace the cartridges, go to maintenance and press quot;deep cleaningquot;. I do this cleaning four times, then do a tet strip. It is usually perfect. THen I take out each color cartidgein turn and make sure the ink is ready and wet at the entrance. If it isn t i may have to wet each dry entrance with the same color, using a hypodermic needle with a little color on it. When all the cartridges are wet and flowing and all the jets are clear and unclogged, then your printer will produce proper phots and NOT until then will they do it.
Get a laser printer and replace your ink
Looks like your connects via USB 2.0 - but scroll down and see for yourself. http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/contro…
standard USB cable. you should be able to find it for $4 tops. If not, try http://ccs-digital.com where you can get it for $4 including shipping.
Standard USB printer cable, all printers created in approximately the last 4 or5 years use the same cable.
Funny you asked this another asked it a few days ago. To my knowledge there is no way as white ink cartridges would be needed as the printer mixes colours to get others, which I obvious know you know, but white I think it just leaves the page white as it assumes you are printing on white paper. I seem to remember someone saying that you can get something to do it but from where or how much it cost I don t know. It makes me laugh that Word has a white colour font setting but printers can t print white! I once set the background page color to black and wrote in white and all that happened was the paper went through without any print on it and I used coloured paper as well! Edit These sites ask the same question and it does not appear there is white ink for home printers. http://answerpool.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f… http://forums.prophecy.co.za/f10/white-p…
I know that this is not what you wanted on the invites but have you tried to set the fond colour to a very pale shade of grey to see if: 1) That it will print something nearing white. 2) If it will then be pale enough to pass for whitess on the brown paper? Report Abuse
First, select a new page and set it to landscape. Now set your ruler in the middle of the blank page. If you are doing the front cover first, write only on the right side of the page so that their is nothing in the back when you fold it. Now to do the inside, write whatever you want on the left and/or the right side. If you need to place a pic or clipart, put the image holder on whatever side you want and resize it to it so it looks good. When you are ready to print, print the front first and make sure your printer is set to landscape and not portrait. Go in the printer setup in the page layout. Now, once it comes out of the printer, re-insert it face down and the job is done.
Here is the driver download page for your printer: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw… Choose your operating system. Under the quot;driverquot; section pick which one you want. Download and install and have a good time.

I buy all my ink on EBAY...and you could no doubt find either the generic brand refilled already or the name brand(which is what I get) or the refill kit on Ebay. BTW, I often buy expired ink and so long as it is brand name, it works almost as long...for a fifth of the price or even cheaper! GOOD LUCK! Maybe this link might help?? http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll…
There everywhere. You can get them at office supply stores, walmart, target, drug stores, order them online, they are on ebay, I ve even seen them at the grocery store.
speaking as a computer person, I know you want to save money and yeah those kits work to some extent, but everytime you do that there is a risk you take of damaging the cartridge where it leaks out into your printer and you have a big mess and possibly a broken printer. just thought I would tell ya that
i bought mine at wal mart for $14 but my cartridge is the #1 cartridge y Lexmark so yours should be a little cheaper thatn mine. you can also try algreens to get it filled. not sure about their prices though, i d look into it. good luck...p.s. my ink cartrigde is only 1 multi color so thats why my ink refill kit had ALL the colors! good deal!
Your best and cheapest solution is to buy a printer that can print onto CD/DVD s. The least expensive one manufactured is the Epson R280. It is a excellent photo printer, with 6 individual ink cartridges and High Definition inks, but it also prints onto the printable CD/DVD s. Check it out on the Epson website and you can probably buy it cheaper on-line, but in retail it sales for $99.99 and I have never seen it any cheaper (in store). http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consu…
Do it yourself Use neato labeler It is simple to use And you can put photographs on them
some printers have the capability to do this at youre home(mine)
