How can I set the default printer for my computer (specifically when printing from the web)? -

Printer on and connected Start Control Panel Hardware and Sound (or Printers in XP) Printer single click over the printer you want at top, select quot;Set as defaultquot; Best to set it from your control panel option. I m guessing you have a PC. cursor to the Start button and find the Control Panel. Make sure your printer is connected and quot;Onquot; also assuming Vista, look under the quot;Hardware and Soundquot; and then you will see the printer option. select Printers and you should have a window that opens and shows your printers installed. Single left click over the printer you want as the default and select quot;Set as defaultquot; at the top of the page. XP is slightly different. Let us know what you have.

Anytime you print from an application and the box for printing pops up and lists the available printers, you can right click on your choice and select Select As Default Printer.
