Any ideas why when I try to scan a document on my new printer I get the message LCD List Needs to be upgraded? -

This used to work fine and it just stopped working for some reason.

Check the companies website to see if there are updated drivers for your printer. This maybe a message indicating that you need to upgrade. If not, then I would suggest that you uninstall and then reinstall the drivers.

You need to cycle the power on the unit, and on the computer go to the HP Solution Center settings for Scans. quot;Front Panel Scan Button Settingsquot;, quot;Scan To Setup (Front Panel List)quot; (This is the LCD it refers to), quot;Update the Devicequot;. You can change things around if you want, too. My default is JPEG. Report Abuse

maybe get a new printer/scanner
