Will a dated printer work on a new computer? -

I want to buy myself a new computer. My mom just got a new printer and we had to buy a USB cord to go from the new printer to her computer so I want her printer that she had before. The dated one is a HP Deskjet 672C. I do not believe that there is a USB port on the dated printer just that plug with the 2 screws. Do new computers still accommodate this?

When buying the new computer just have a look at the back and see if it has a parallel port(printer port).If it does it will support the older printer.

HP 672C printer is not USB compatible. You will need parallel cable connection at both ends.
