Can i print from a mac to a printer connected to another mac through USB? -

i have two macs and one is connected....how do i print without the use of a router

1. Connect the printer to the computer that its normally going to be plugged into. 2. Add the printer (System Preferences lt; Print amp; Fax) 3. Turn Printer Sharing on (System Preferences lt; Sharing) 4. Connect the slave to the host computer (Ethernet, Ad-Hoc, whatever) 5. On the slave, add the printer (System Preferences lt; Print amp; Fax) 6. Ready to go!

You cant. In order to print something from your computer you need to have the computer connected to the printer on a network with yours. Maybe it s different on mac os but on windows i know you need to setup file and printer sharing on a network.
