How do I install my printer with out the CD rom? -

I have a laserjet 1000. It s usb connected, but I need to install it into my computer before I can use it. But I don t have the CD. Help?

You can go to the manufacturer s website and download the driver. Like if it s HP, then go to their website and then they should have an option for like drivers and/or downloads. Go there and then choose the type of printer you have (laserjet 1000) and download it and save the file like to your desktop...once it finishes downloading then open the file from you desktop and install it. It s easy. There should be instructions on the manufacturer s website also.

Look it up on the internet and get it from there. Just type in the name of your printer and search for drivers
