Why is my printer printing my word document in a column of one letter at a time? -

I ve been trying to print a word document, but for some reason my printer is printing it in a column on the left margin that is one letter per line. Everything looks normal on microsoft word but when i look at the print preview it appears the same way as it is when I print it. How can I fix this?

take a look at your margins for one, and then go into your printer and tell it to print on a regular size piece of paper...
