Why is my font size tiny when i print from a internet page? -

I have a Lexmark Photo printer and everytime i print a document from the internet the font size always defaults to the smallest, its that small i have to use a magnifing glass to read the text, can anyone please help me. Thank You In Advance!

Here s the thing: when your computer sends a command to the printer to print out this internet page or that word document, there s a silicon chip that rewrites the command so the printer can print the file. I m betting that there s something on the page that s causing the printer to make the font size smaller. It s also possible that the browser font size has been lowered somehow. Another one that pops into my mind is your printer settings, which defines how the computer sends signals to the printer. You might have it to Shrink to printable area , and so the computer puts the whole page on one paper in the print command, so that s why it comes out like that. If it s none of those, then I m not really sure.

it probably just sets itself to default maybe try the printer advance and settings

There are 4 ways to reduce or enlarge print on your PC (1) Hit quot;viewquot;, text size, then largest, larger, medium etc (2) At Outlook or Express press,Tools, options, then quot;composequot;. Now type in the font you like, the colour you like and the size you like for both quot;mailquot; and quot;newsquot;. (3) Hit start, control panel, Display, Settings, Advanced, then DPI settings. Here is where you can either change to 96 (normal) or large size (120) or hit custom and you can choose your own number, such 105, 110 etc. (4) Hit start, control panel, display, then quot;appearancequot;. At the bottom left you will see options such as quot;Large fonts, extra large fonts etcquot;.. Choose one of them and then hit quot;apply and OK so that the change will take effect. With these changes you can increase EVERYTHING ON YOUR DESKTOP. But there will a slight reduction in your screen visibility so it is a compromise. Choose what is acceptable. And if you do NOT like a change you can always retrace your steps and revert to the former status. Please write down what you are doing AS you are doing it so you won t make some change and FORGET how to reverse it! Spend some time changing these three options on your PC to suit your vision preferences and how you would like your e-mails to appear when they arrive at your Aunt Agatha s house. So many PC users seem to be stuck with black 10 point Roman which is such a shame. There are lots of beautiful fonts like Comic Sans, Verdana etc and colours such as Christmas green (right now), later on sky blue and purples which can add class to your e-mails. You mentioned printing from the web. If you have highlighted or chosen and article from the web, just press quot;filequot;, then quot;print reviewquot;. Your article will come up, showing you how it looks and telling you how many pagesit will be etc. But at the top right you will notice an option called quot;shrink to fitquot;. If you hit this you will be given the option of printing your piece 50% or 100% or 200%, almost any percentage you wish. Choose 150 for example, then go ahead and print your piece. It will print quite a large size type. This will help you choose, in future just what size you want your printed document to be. Hope this helps. Merry Christmas and good luck.

change the font size go to toolsgt;internet optionsgt;fonts

Because the Internet font size is smaller than that of Microsoft words
