Ok I figured out how to take screenshots. But can you take them without a printer? If not is there anything you can download where you can?

Ok. So you figured out that if you hit the Prt Scrn button, it captures an image of the screen onto the clipboard, and you can then paste the results (CTRL-V or Edit-Paste) into any image program... like paint (start - all programs - accessories - paint)... and then save it is a JPG or a BMP or whatever you want. How does a printer figure into this?

Yes. No printer need. Just because you use the Prt Scrn Button, doesn t mean you need a printer. That is an old expression from the mainframe computer days.
