How do I prevent my printer from smudging the ink? -

Whenever I print out something, the ink on the paper is always smudged. How can I fix this?

If this is an Ink based printer then cleaning it should create a solution. If you have a toner based printer it could be dirty or a flaw with the Toner Cartridge or Fuser.
