What can I do with expired, yet unopened printer ink cartridges? -

Recycle? Sell?

I d probably give them a try. if you stored them in a cool, dry location there is a good chance they will still work. Some print models will recognize that the cartridge has expired and may not print, but most should work ok. Otherwise, I d recommend recycling them - especially if you have a cartridge that appears on the buyback list of companies that pay for empties -- like this one: http://www.castleink.com/_recycle-ink-ca…

Actually you can still use it even it was expired. Open it and use alcohol cloth to clean the cartridge head. Shake it many times, then you can use it. Don t worry, they won t damage your printer.

You can use it, but it may have dried up and may affect your printer, so better to recycle. I don t think anyone will buy it, but you may be able to give them away for free to people who (illegally) refill them.
