How do you save photos from printer, to computer? -

I can t find where they have gone. After it says what do you want to do with these photos, I press the save window and a pop up shows my various files, which someone else has already added photos to. After I click on the one I want and press ok, I go back to view it but it s not there. Where is it? What would I be doing wrong, I have an H.P printer.

When you click to save a photo, it will show you a quot;defaultquot; Directory it saves the files in. Jus take the time to READ the popup Save Directory path. You can click on the little quot;back arrowquot; icon to backup one step from the default directory to give you an idea of the path if it isn t fully displayed... You can also do a SEARCH of say JPG files to find where the pictures are.....

if you are talking about a hp photo smart that has a digital camera card reader then they should be where you chose for them to go.just insert your card again and select save. The file you last selected should be highlighted...good luck

There are several ways to find you photos. You can click quot;Startquot; and select quot;Searchquot;, choose quot; For files and foldersquot;, select quot;Pitcures, music or videsoquot; and then check the quot;Pictures and Photosquot; box. If you know the names of any of the pictures you can type that info in and run the search. Once you find the photos, make a note of where they are so you can find them in the future.

if you have a scanner you can scan the photos and save them to your pictures on the computer.
