How can I make something print i black and white? -

I use a HP Deskjet 3940 and a Toshiba Libretto if that helps. I want to use a word document with some pics. in it but we dont have enough ink to do it :(. So how do I do Bamp;W?

change it under settings/preferences, to black and white, when you click print

go no control on settings and printer or put in a black and white inc cartridge

You have to go to file print, and there should be a blackamp;white color setting thing on that window that pops up. Hope it helps q:{ ]

When you go to print, go to the print options and click on the option to prink in black and white only.

In Word go to File...Print. In that box you ll see a tab or button for Properties. Make sure the right printer is chosen. In there you will see a tab for Paper/Quality. There you can choose color or grayscale. Good luck!

here s something you might want to try. go FILE --gt; PRINT. a print dialogue box should come up. Click on PROPERTIES button, and then the COLOR tab. There should be a checkbox that says Print in greyscale. check that box. When you do, the preview thing that s beside it should turn grey. make sure you have hi quality checked as well. Hope this will help.

go to file, print, properties, color, print in greyscale

When you click print, a screen will open that will allow you to select which printer you would like to print to as well as some other options such as how many copies you would like to have, etc. At the top beside where the printer name is, there is a button labeled quot;Properties....quot;. If you click that button, there should be a option on the screen that opens to print in quot;Monochromequot; which is the same as Black amp; White. Hope that helps. I don t specifically have an HP printer, however this is how most printers are so it should lead you in the right direction.
