How to fix canon ip1000 printer that says quot;print head is not installedquot;? -

Just now i have been encountering problems with our canon ip1000 printer. Even though the print head is installed with ink jets, it wont allow us to print and a window pops up that says quot;The appropriate print head is not installed.quot;. Any tips on how i can fix this? I need to print a lot of projects soon. :D Thanks in advance to those that can help. :D

I always try to reinstall the print head by taking it out and putting it back in. Or maybe contact whoever you got the printer from or call support. http://www.ehow.com/how_2239727_clean-ca… would be a great help. Also, you can always ask me to print for you anytime. :gt;

Sounds like your print head might have gotten jarred loose or maybe broken. Try removing it and then reinstalling it. If it still doesn t work, look for a new head.
