How do you install a lexmark 4126 printer with out the cd? -

I have a lexmark 4126-003 printer and do not have the cd. I need to know how to install this with out the cd.

if you have windows vista just go windows update and it will find the software for you (first connect the priner and turn it on or it wont work)

I think you forgot details on your printer model. the 4126-003 is not listed at Lexmark website. there is a 4216-010, 4216-20 amp; 4216-30 you can check it out on the link below (click on all, and go to the next page). if you can identify it, click on the model and it ll take to the page where you can download the correct drivers that later you can install on your pc. http://support.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/sele…

Just go to lexmark.com and download the drivers. Plug your printer in and you are set.
