Can I use a router as a printer server in order to print wirelessly? -

I have an old wireless router. Can I use this as a printer server in order to print without having to plug my printer directly into my pc? My pc(well iMac) already has a built in wireless adaptor (Airport Extreme).

Maybe = a lot of wireless routers have printer ports Go have a look - it should be either a standard USB socket or one of those little squarish USB sockets (like the one on your USB printer) Then RTFM (the Manual will detail how to install it)

You have to have a network printer. That is, the printer has to be able to be able to run directly from a router instead of a computer. Repost and specify your printer make/model and your router.

no i dont think u can. u can however, if our printer can be setup to be remote through wireless, connect your printer to your desktop and share it, though a network and u can access it with your laptop.

Yes it is possible to plug a printer into a hub. As long as the hub has the right sockets and the printer has the right connectors, then try it and see.

No i dont think you can sorry
