My computer is not communicating with my Lexmark 6200printer. The computer was disconnected for a few hours? -

I disconnected the computer for a few hours and when I connected it to the printer the printer says communication error.

well, two possibilities: 1: Windows problem (Re-install windwos) 2: Preinter driver s problem (re-install it too).

just re-install the driver for the printer. i have to do that everytime i disconnect my computer. hope this helps, good luck

Re-check all physical connections, turn off and then on the printer (power cycle) then restart your computer.
