Do any other ink cartidges work with Dell printers? -

I have a DELL all in one printer 922. I have ordered on line for ink, but is there another way. Can you refill the cartridges?

Dell printers are made by Lexmark, so Lexmark cartridges will work.

That printer was either free or low cost but requires that you purchase your cartridges from Dell in the future. You can try to refill them (or get into a program w/ a commercial cartridge re-filler), but it isn t worth the hassle amp; mess anymore in my opinion to refill yourself though I used to do it. Their Dell ink is fairly low cost though considering what you paid for the printer...Best thing to do is place a double order, then when you get down to 1 avail...order more online. (Don t forget to send back your empties for recycling or take them into Staples to get $$$ s off merchandise). Good Luck! PS: Standard Lexmark printer cartridges WILL NOT WORK....There are extra tabs on the opposite sides of the cartridge(s). I purchased a refill cartridge at walgreens but it didn t work very well. Your better off buying a brand new ink cartridge for your printer. I have an HP, am not familiar with Dell
